How did you find out about the escapist ?

I came for ZP [Ho ho!Came indeed] and stayed because the forums were civilized, unlike my previous experiences with the internet.
Standards seem to be falling a bit nowadays, somehow.

Some guy on another forum (oblivionsource.com you rocked!) posted a link to the ZP oblivion video and we discussed it. I trolled around here watching the videos and occasionally looking at threads. When Oblivion source died, I moved here.

A friend of mine gave me the link to Zero Punctuation, and that's all I watched on here for a while. Eventually I started looking at the other things as well and now I always come on whenever I use the internet.

I saw a Zero Punctuation review of Monster Hunter 2G on Reign of the Rathalos, and after some searching, found the Escapist. Oddly, that video doesn't appear on the Escapist.

I was going to go through and count how many posts said something other than ZP was what introduced them... I got bored before I finished the first page lol.

Like most of you 'twas that rapscallion Yahtzee. A friend showed me his Halo3 & Gears2 back in the summer. I then got into Unforgotten Realms & Unskippable. I've only recently created a profile. Gotta say the attitude on this site is generally really easy going. This is also the first web magazine thingy I've ever signed up for because of that cool attitude

I wanted to see some gameplay from The Darkness because I was really bored one day, so I went to YouTube and typed in darkness gameplay. I clicked through a couple of links and found Yahtzee's Darkness review. I watched the four videos that were on YouTube and then went to the Escapist for the rest. Later I joined the Forums and BAM. Here I am.

Same with me. But for some reason, I didnt go here until a few days after I watched his videos.

Someon posted his Silent Hill Origins review in an old Silent Hill forum i used to be part of, and since then i started watching his videos every week. Time after when the forum went down and after some months of not having an 'internet home' i decided to join these forums.
