How did you find out about the escapist ?

The provided link brought me to ZP and as such the escapist as a whole. Having left the other boards I used to peruse behind for a variety of reasons, I decided to stick around for more than just the review segment.

A friend of mine gave me the link to Zero Punctuation, and that's all I watched on here for a while. Eventually I started looking at the other things as well and now I always come on whenever I use the internet.

Pretty much excacly this except replace the link with, I found Yahtzee on youtube.

Well I went to theSonic show and saw that they had a zero punctuation episode of Sonic Unleashed. He totally raped the game which saddened me but it was so funny I didnt care. I went to the website in the video and here I am! So thank you Sonic Show!

It was a few years ago, I stumbled on one of the early editions of the Escapist Magazine when it was only distributed in PDF form, if I can remember correctly.

Especially interesting to me because it had a picture of one of the beaches in my town, in a piece talking about the Street Fighter II arcade hacks, including the aerial blocking that someone here in Rio manufactured. =]

I was at a programming camp, and we would constantly goof off, thats right, we had the opportunity to make custom maps for UT3, and we spent most of our time goofing off, the guy a row ahead of me was watching UR and ZP, eventually i asked him what it was, and then he told me about the escapist.
