Basically ive gone through a ot of things. Ive never seen the Escapist magazine advertised or at least noticed it advertised anywhere. Not on youtube, Google, Facebook,or any place with advertisements. I personally discovered it searching for a review of a game i liked (Fable:TLC) then discovered Zero Punctuation who made videos here, and ive been a member ever since. If it isnt advertised alot then how did you personally find out about the escapist?

My brother showed me Zero Punctuation...it was the Umbrella Chronicles episode (I had just started getting into Resident Evil).

I was on a forum that had some funny D&D exploits. broken things you can do according to RAW, but that no DM in their right mind would allow. stuff like the Commoner Railgun, or the bag of tricks + supreme cleave.

I sent the link to my buddy, and he sent me back a link to Doraleous and Associates.

Hey now brown cow, I was brought here by Rob. He's awesome and the Escapist shouldn't have ever let him go. Sigh...

I was linked from the WoW Europe forums to the Webcomics episode of ZP. I've come to love Extra Credits and the LoadingReadyRun team since.

I was lured here by clips of ZP on X-play. That was during the days when G4 was still actually kind of good and still had a few shows about gaming on it. I wish that channel hadn't gone down the shit hole.

Yahtzee
Some guy on IMDB (that's where I was before here) linked Yahtzee's review of MGS4 and I've been hooked ever since :D

I saw a bunch of Yahtzee's ZP videos shown on G4 during X-Play. The a while later G4 got taken off the air (On what I watched it on), and my PS3 died for a while. So I needed to find something else to do and figured I'd go find more Yahtzee. after I saw all the episodes (at the time) I needed to watch something else while I waited for the next episode, and found that most everything on the Escapist was great. I just a while ago became a member though. If I had earlier I'd have way more badges and posts, but at least I got to view and read so many amazing stuff.

The Escapist is GOOD. :)

Yahtzee. Friend of mine showed me a few videos. Went home and googled "Zero Punctuation" and arrived here.

Yeah. X-Play did get a bit too "big". I miss what it once was. As for AOTS, as far as I can tell its pretty much the same.(With one long time member missing.)

I still wish I could watch them on TV still.
>_< I hate watching it online!
Though some of the online only shows are pretty good. Some.

I was on the phone with my best friend and he told me to look up Zero Punctuation, this was back when there weren't that many reviews to watch (I think the first new episode for me was Silent Hill Origins) and I watched Assassin's Creed.

Maybe I should have expected it from a series called Zero Punctuation, but was anyone else thrown off by Yahtzee's speedy delivery style the very first time they watched him? I know it's just the norm for most of us now, but I can't imagine being the only person who first heard him and was very confused for a moment or two.

The weekly posting of ZP on Reddit. Am I allowed to talk about Reddit on other websites? Are the police going to come for me? Either way, there's your answer.

I think it was from Shamus. I saw 20-sided on TV Tropes, read through that archive and checked out this site. I saw Zero Punctuation and was hooked on the site, I lurked around for a while before making an account

A few friends of mine on another website were talking about it, so...I decided to chug on over. Haven't regretted it!

He made a series called Unforgotten Realms [www.urealms.com] a D&D parody show. Fantastic humour.

My brother told me to google Zero Punctuation.

I spent the rest of that day watching every single ZP that was up. I think it was up to Orange Box when I started watching.
