How did you find out about The Escapist?

I personally found out about this website from an internet show called Pure Pwnage. At the beginning of an episode, they parodied Yahtzee and Zero Punctuation by starting the episode with Zero Coordination with Nahtzee(Teh militant defender of gamers)
It was in the style of ZP as well, with the yellow background and everything(kinda) I looked at the credits at the end, and it showed that it was a parody of ZP and the escapist and stuff so i checked it out and thought it was hilarious and totally awesomeness. this was early august of last year.

So, how did YOU, you all important center of the universe find out about this website?

Purely by chance. I knew about ZP on youtube, and I used to read Yahtzees articles in PC gamer, and when I found this site I just observed the forums and watched the videos for awhile before making an account and posting myself.

They had previews of sections of ZP on the show for a small amount of time. Eventually I decided to check out the site, watched ZP for a while, eventually joined.

Some of my friends showed me ZP videos that they had downloaded to their flash-drive at school. After I watched the six videos they had, I asked if they had any more. They said no, but I saw the website link.

I then followed through via Yahtzee's own website, and watched for a month or so... Then I saw the forums. After that I was hooked...

I still enjoy Yahtzee but also There will be brawl, and i really like Escape to the movies with Movie bob, great reviews there.
But then i fell into the stereotype of coming here "for the articles"... and not the shiny reviews
