I was told to watch Zero Punctuations Halo 3 review, I stalked the forums for a while and then decided to join.

i saw the zp review of haze on X-play and thought it sounded awesome. i came here and since i watched every episode of ZP, i went to escape to the movies, Game dogs, unforgotten realms, and unskippible. im glad that the only thing that has come out of the current X play is my addiction to this website

I used to be a member of the GameTrailers forums (awful, terrible, 4chan-esque place) and some guy posted a thread about the ZP 'Army Of 2' review. I watched it, loved it, watched all of his previous reviews and have enjoyed the Escapist ever since. Althought that must've been in like '07/'08 and it took me until '09 to join the forums... not really sure why

I think Gizmodo or Kotaku linked to one of the ZP videos. After frequent watching along with unskippable I decided to sign up. Mainly because of facebook connect. I finally decided to start posting like two days ago and so far its a part of my internet routine.

Because of ZP. Surprise surprise! Found it on youtube, loved it. And the rest, they say, is history.

My friend showed me Zero Punctuation. Interestingly, I find other shows, like Doomsday Arcade or Loading Ready Run funnier... I didn't sign up for a while, but I'm glad I did.

I certainly like it... having been here for about 2 years now, I think I've pretty much seen every video (save a few here and there), gone through the forums thoroughly, tried out forum games, joined user groups, read lots of articles, read their news board, made friends, and generally used this place to the full.

Unfortunately, I do feel that the main feature (for me), the forums, has lost its former glory a little... with more people comes more trolls, and its coming to look more and more like other video games forums, ridden with idiots and twats. Furthermore, the 'famous' users are too numerous now... before, there were only one or two 'furburt's or 'MaxTheReaper's. Now... its almost like every other poster has 10k post counts.. while this growth is perfectly natural, its kinda lost its intimate touch - nobody can recognise anyone anymore.

search bar is your friend.
I just answered a similar thread 3 days ago or so.
I followed a link from facebook and ended up lost in this dark creepy alley (been trying to get out ever since but this seems like Eagle's "Hotel California").

After wandering for years through a desert I saw what I deemed to be a mighty oasis, so I traveled to it and it turned out to be The Escapist.

Nah like virtually everyone else I was came for ZP and stayed for the food.

I saw the Fable review on youtube and followed it to this site.

This one, before ZP was up.

This, basically - I watched the Fable and Darkness reviews he had on Youtube, then the little video about him being signed up to the Escapist, and I've been a lurker who occasionally posts ever since. xD
