How did you find the Escapist?

Though I didn't find it myself. A friend linked me to one of the ZP videos.

But even so somewhere in his videos he first mentioned that he was going to be putting all newer features on a website called The Escapist. So that's why I'm here. lurking ever still

Zero Punctuation. When I joined, the most recently uploaded video was Killzone 3. However, my educated guess as to which video was most recent when I first started watching them would be Crackdown 2, since the earliest memory I have of seeing a new video uploaded was Deathspank and Limbo.

Not sure why it took almost a year for me to decide to actually sign up, but I'm glad I did in the end.

Surprise surprise Zero Punctuation! I do not remember which one or how I came across it but after finding it I lurked around for awhile before making an account.

Edit: Now that I think about it maybe I heard about ZP from a Moviebob video on Youtube and came over to check it out. Not 100% sure but that kinda sounds right. How I came across Moviebob I haven't the faintest.

I think it was when I saw one Zero Punctuation video on youtube and it lead me here. And since then I have used this site as my news and forums lurking site.

A recurring theme, but yeah Yahtzee (Susan might be thanking hm right now). I frequented Kotaku, actually thinking it was the coolest place to be, and Yahtzee's limerically awesome review of Wolfenstein was a blog post on there. Ended up here, lurked it up, and decided that this was a good first place to actually make an account and participate with the other children. For anyone who's curious, yeah I was very happy that things did get better than Kotaku, as I was starting to mount a few grievances by that point.

I was simply looking for an active forum to post in. I just found it by searching in Google for magazines and such. I was part of many forums in the past to be honest, but eventually got in trouble in most of them or got bored of the community present on these forums. I really like this forum though, theres a lot of activity in general and there are almost no arguments or conflicts between members. These things were actually happening quite much during my time on previous forums.

First time was by accident in 2007, completely forgot why. Looked at something and then buggered off.
Second time was spring 2008 due to somebody talking about Zero Punctuation in a computer class I was taking.
I was a lurker/watcher since that fateful day. Then I finally joined...because why not?

I still remember when ZP used old pop songs for intro music. Before that generic riff.
Or...was that the Escapist just slapping them on there?
Bah, doesn't matter.

Well, I don't remember if did an account here at first, but the reason I am here now more often is because the very famous event "Death of the Factions" in Gametrailers Forums.
I was part of some Factions here like in Shin Megami Tensei and MLP faction.
That why when we heared this sad news, I and the other members of Shin Megami Tensei [I was an active member here] decided to find a new place to be together. We had a lot of suggestions, and one of them was the Escapist site.
So here I am. Because of the stupudity of Gametrailers owners to buttf*ck their own site, I am here, and I am glad I did ^^

Basically, TVtropes -> Youtube -> Yahtzee. So yeah. I only like some of the other shows here. The only ones I really watch weekly or listen to are ZP, podcat, and unskippable.

Two friends of mine at university kept on saying that I had to check out Zero Punctuation, so I did, and was instantly a fan. I made an account here not long after, and I have kept coming back ever since. I still watch Zero Punctuation as well.
