Well, my steam name is Clampdown, in honour of the badass song, my escapist name is because it sounded cool in my head, and my general other name is DNA195242, in honour of Douglas Noel Adams, born 1952.

My cousin was watching me play FF7 and She said I should name Red XIII Dr.Suess. So one misspelling later here I am.

I have a crapton of stock names I draw upon, most being of my own creation. As for my main "Kimarous" alias, that was actually something my brother came up with a long time ago as a throw-away character. I took a liking to the name and asked if he minded if I used it. He didn't and I started using him as a minor villain in an original story of mine, only to gradually develop into a more heroic character and a bit of an author avatar. Started using the name online and it has stuck ever since. What's great is that its unique enough that I can consistently use it wherever I go because nobody will have used it before me.

Heh... I used to know a guy whose alias, at least on GameFAQs, was "SoraxRoxas." His logic was "Roxas is Sora with an 'x' in his name... I'll add an 'x' to Sora and combine the two!" He did not realize the shipping implications until afterwards...

My dad calls himself Kaduflyer because of the Hawkwind song, so I became Kaduflyer Jr, this later evolved into TheKaduflyerSystem after finding out what 'kaduflyer' means and after seeing videos of 'TheSyndicateProject'
also, no numbers! (a annoyance to me, it ruins the individuality)

C.G. are my initials, Metallica is a band that had a huge influence on me when I was young and 1981 is the year they started. Sometimes I will go with cgflyers1981, everything for the same reason except the Philadelphia Flyers are my favorite NHL team. My GT is P2K Destruction, Destruction is a German thrash metal band and P2K stands for Pleasure to Kill, an album from another German band Kreator (my friend wanted to start a clan and was looking for a name, and I was listening to the album and thought it would be good and then he wanted me to join). Pretty childish now that I think about it, but it's what's important to me.

I rather like Generic Jim over Average Joe. :o

ExiusXavarus is an amalgamation of two different names I used on separate MMOs. I have a Human on R.O.H.A.N.: Blood Feud named Exius, and when I played ConquerOnline, I was a Water Taoist named Xavar. I created "Exius Xavarus" when I started playing Guild Wars, and I had to have a first and last name, so I latinized Xavar to create Xavarus. Generally online, my friends will often refer to me as Ex or just X. Simply shortened variations of the names I use. My Escapist name would be "Exius Xavarus" rather than "ExiusXavarus" if I'd been able to do that, at the time.(I see names with spaces now, but for some reason Escapist wouldn't let me do that with my name when I tried creating it)

My username here was inspired by Halo: Reach, of all things. My name is Catherine, just like the female Spartan on the team. (Why they spelled her nickname "Kat" with a K is beyond me.) Anyway, her serial number thing is B320, and I matched it up with my own name.

My xbox gamertag was made by my dad, so...yeah. He literally never plays on multiplayer -- he bought xbox live so we could get Fallout 3 DLC and stuff like that. It's garygrn because his name is gary, our last name starts with a G, and he's an RN.

my name mostly comes from when I was like, 3,4? I forget exactly when, but I had pretty bad eyesight then, and I got in a fight with a friend of mine, and the first thing I did was rush him head-first and then bucked my head up and broke his nose, people started calling me rhino afterwards and it stuck, and then I thought that "rhino" was spelled "ryhno" so when I got an email account I made it ryhno, the red part was a nickname that I'd had before because of my hair.

Jinxzy is because when ever something bad happened my friend would tease me and blame it on me. I would always say "It's couldn't be any worse." Yet always something happened to make it worse. They said I always jinxed them. Thus getting the nick name Jinxzy.

My gamer tag is Lovelesskitten. I got that when I was about 15/16 and I always tried to put Kitten in my user names. I thought it was cute, but of corse all the kitten names were taken. So I sat in my room running over endless possibilities; "Fluffy Kitten" "Furry Kitten" "Purple Kitten" "Lovely Kitten." Most of them sounded so girly I gave up with a sneer. Until Loveless Kitten popped into my head and I used it. At 16 you think it's bad ass like: "Yeah, I don't love anyone. I'll kick your butts to prove it!" Now that I'm older I wish I would have put more thought into it, but I'm so use to people calling me Loveless, I'll stick to it.

luckshot is the second version of my very first gamer tag, way back when i first got into pc gaming at my friends house and needed to pick a name for DOD, the only thing i could think of was "badshot" because i was terrible at first

eventually i got better that even my inner critic said i wasnt a bad shot and i got my own computer and steam account.

im still amazed that i have only seen about 10 or so using similar names throughout my gaming career (started more than 10 years ago)

"Atmos" is short for "Atmosphere".
I'm a meteorology major, and weather sciences has been a personal interest of mine since the age of 9.

"Duality"...a neat sounding word, but ultimately it's just a filler-appendage for my screen name, as plain old "Atmos" was already taken on this site when I signed up (and based on the profile lookup, it was never used...what a waste).

Though if pressed as to why I chose "duality".
I entertain myself with this silly idea of being "two people" online; a serious person with opinions that I debate as, and a persona who realizes the futility of acting serious online and posts solely because it amuses me.

"Rational" vs "Irrational" personas, yet I'm both at the same time.
If that isn't good enough, feel free to invent your own reason.

I cannot for the life of me remember where my name comes from for here but my PSN name was created after a long time of thought. I wanted a name that would strike fear into my enemies and inspire courage and valour into the hearts of my allies, my choice? LordOfTheEwoks.

Although the "inspiration" seems quite obvious for my Escapist name and Xbox gamertag, Inglorious Bastards only had a small influence. The movie was pretty good, but it wasn't so good I just HAD to name myself after it. Around the time I saw the movie I was going to change my gamertag, and Inglorios89 popped into my head, and it just sounded pretty good, so I went with it.

As for IngloriousPony89, name choice should seem pretty obvious...

I had just finished reading the Hobbit, and I remembered Berenze, the big bear hermit, and how his name is similar to my own, so I slightly altered it.

Well, my username here came about due to me liking the band Manowar and Norse mythology.
My PSN name I found in a dictionary because I wanted a difficult word as a username.
