When I was four, maybe younger, I would play on my brother's N64. I was eight kinds of shit at gaming (still am in a way), but I loved it none the less.

When I was between 6-8 I started on the NES playing Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Castlevania, a football game, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles among others...my parents eventually sold my NES I think, it wasn't until around 2000 that I got my GC and became a real gamer, playing and owning more and more GC games, then branching from Nintendo, I recently got my own PS3, while borrowing or playing with my friend's X360's and my girlfriend and her Bro's Wii while I was at college...

I would have to say that I didn't lose it until 2000 because I was a kid just playing video games, not the true gamer I am now, and I've defiantly come a long way from the kid who loved to play anything to a man who tries to be over analytical with games nowadays...

"Tank Game" for the Atari 2600... or maybe it was Asteroid or Pong. I forget. It was a long while ago.

Then I got my very own NES several years later and I was a total Legend of Zelda nut, along with Gyruss (never did beat that game...) and some of the older Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games. I was a total Nintendo fanboy right up until Squaresoft quit developing games exclusively for nintendo, but by that time we had such games as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark for the N64.

Super Mario World. Very, very young; my earliest memories involve video games.
Not necessarily a bad thing, by playing it with my older sister I learned to read before even pre-school.

Please don't call it virginity, cause my parents introduced me to teh game, and no matter how un-sexual gaming-virginity is it still sounds disturbing :p

First game i ever played was Pole Position, in the arcade, back in 83. I was 3. Shortly afterwards the old man got me pong, which i played till i got a 2600, and recieved winter olympics and jungle hunt. The first real game i played would have been TMNT for the nes.

I'm not sure if it was actually the first, but the game that I remember best was Diablo 1. I was far too young it but my dad let me watch and eventually play it, and I never looked back.

I also remember learning to spell steroids so I could cheat at Age of Empires. My childhood was awesome.
