How did you pick your username?

[King of the Sandbox]

I came up with mine to reflect my tastes and expertise in the field of sandbox style games, which are my favorite, as they lend more to the idea of actually 'playing' like when we were kids.

I went by Legion, Legion X, and LegiontheMany (because of the bilbical story and Stephen King's play on it in Storm of the Century) until I came here, for about 15 years. Then it was used in Mass Effect 2, and now everyone's got a <3-on for that name, so I'm glad I changed it. ^_^

I just wanted an ambiguous username that meant something, in this case either 'really cool' or 'absolute zero'.

I got mine from a book when I was little (Holes). I played my first RPG and named the main character Zero, this fitted so well with his personality that the name made an impression and stuck.
Ofcourse there's always another Zero so I had to think of something to put after it, 47 came to mind first.

P.S. I pronounce it as Zero-four-seven.

I'm just trying to stay as unique as possible. It doesn't reall have any meaning.
I took the word for Death in old Norwegian (Dauden), and added the first letter of my name in the middle. Been using it for many years, and my internet-past is visible if you google it.
All my registrations on random sites, forums, my Mortal Kombat habit... it's embarassing.

I got mine from the book "Eragon", its means "Fire", it tried a few other words from the book for a while but Brisingr just sort of stuck.

I choose the name initially for a silly reason; it was the name of a sword in Star Ocean 2 and for some reason the name stuck with me. The name back then was Crimson diabloS. I decided to keep it since I am a red-head. Eventually, I got annoyed with the length of the name and instead shortened it to the first 3 letters of eacxh word; hence the name cridia.

i've been using mine for a few years now.
it basically started when my friends and i were playing a game (i think it was halo 3, but i could be wrong), and one of us mentioned that they were going to mercenate (combination of mercenary and assassinate) another. pretty sure it was a slip of the tongue, but i liked it, so i altered it a little and added '3000' on the end.

I made Warvamp when I was like, five, and I've been using it ever since on account I have a horrible memmory and would forget almost any other username... It was supposed to be a short way of saying warrior vampire... Yeah, I know, I was like five, okay...

With almost any of my other online stuff, though I've lately been using Delta1140, which was a squad member of one of my favorite games of all time, Republic Commando. Might change it later, if it's possible...

Almost all of my usernames stem from characters or storyline elements of my favorite books and games.

Edit: Just changed my stupid username, I am now Fidelias, a character from one of my favorite series of books written by my favorite author of all time.

Edit: Shut up, books are awesome.

My friend bestowed upon me the name of EcksTeaSea and I don't know a better name to use now.

I like the name, but you do know that it is meant to sound out the name of the drug Ectasy when you say it right?

I'm so unoriginal, I just like the Pokemon Slowpoke and the number 9, so I just combined them, woo me.

Its one of the reasons I like it so much.
