Ty12004

Ty - My name is Tyler
12 - My Lucky number
004- Sisters lucky number.. added '00' before cause I had just watched goldeneye

I made that composite username up years ago... It just kinda stuck.

I wanted something self-descriptive yet memorable, so I went with what seems to most to be a contradiction in terms.

I was tired of my previous gaming name, so I turned on the tv, switched to a random channel, and decided the first word someone said would be my new name. The Last Samurai was on, and Tom Cruise said "Samurai". I've always loved the samurai ways(and Japanese culture in general), so I started using it.

My original Online Alias...thing...was Wired Wolf, which I got from Dan Abnett's book "Traitor General" from the Gaunt's ghost's series.

Instead of a badass daemon knight though, people always thought I was strung out so I changed it to Shock Monkey, because of my affinity with Lightning and lame animal motifs but then shortened down to Shock.

Then I saw powethirst, and the rest is history.

I don't know, I didn't give it to much thought.

Sometimes I just feel like changing it to...Moscownaut or something.

I like the sound of the astronomical term "quasar", but it's usually taken, kind of like here. So I replaced the s with an x, that's normally free.
Origined from IRC where I used it for the first time, then I started to like it and adopt the name for forum use too.

It was a nickname I was given when I was really young by my sister. I really like it, and I use it as my online name now.

I'm considering changing the "m" to a capital letter though. Think I should?
Nah, I think it's fine that way.

Simple, really. I combined 'Optimus Prime' with 'Hagrid'.

It created 'OptimusHagrid', which was really, really funny, and because I am proud of insignificant shit like that I made it my username.

Then the lack of a space embarassed me so I used my one chance to change my username to add one.

I'm not sure exactly... I picked it a long time ago when I was looking for AIM screen names. It doesn't mean anything at all but I like it. Because it has absolutely no meaning I've been able to get it absolutely everywhere. Pretty much anywhere you see DaysUntold it's me :)

Random typing, pretty much. I like it, and use it here and on Steam.

Having written a lot of stories, I need to come up with a lot of character names. My username may seem pretty bizarre, but it's unique enough that it's never used before :p

Yeah, you should. Reminds me I was supposed to do the same with mine ages ago. Thanks!
Well, right now the score is 1-1.

Glad I reminded you!

I was singing up for the Escapist and needed a user name. I saw a bunch of CD-R disks on my desk and the rest is history.

I have a cat called Arwen (Just... don't comment) and, being the 10-year old prospective Runescape player that I was, I stuck an extra sound on the front and set off into Tutorial Island.

Yep. It doesn't use up your 'only' name change if you only change the capitalisation.

It's the same as my Gamertag, which was chosen because people describe me as mysterious and distant. At least that's what people who don't know me describe me as. People who do know me describe me as someone who says way too many "your mom" jokes :)

I know it doesn't use up the one change, that's why I've thought about it.

It's just the word frequency but with a bit of pazzaz. I don't use it everywhere, I use the name Bardock in other places. He's my favourite character from the Dragonball mythos. I also use Enhancile for my gamtertag, which is a word first used by Warren Ellis I believe, it's a word used to denote someone who is human but has robot parts or upgrades.
