Try ringing your local council or police and make a noise complaint, maybe? All I can suggest really.

Not a great deal you can do legally (at least not in the UK)

So! up the anti my friend as you are a morning person play some of your music nice and loud as soon as you get up, if they are partying all night i'm sure they would appreciate some loud music in the morning.

I used to do this when i was 14 i would get up at 07:00 turn the speakers to the wall and play something really obnoxious like sonic the hedghog lots of BOOP BOOP BOOP noises :]

Sorry dude not much help then...

You could try sleeping with ear phones in and just listen to the sound of rain or beach sounds or something, that sounds stupid i know but it's what i do when the pub down the road has a large party or something :)

There are some things you can do. If you call the police non-emergency number you can put in a noise complaint, but if it's the weekend they won't show up for hours after you make the call. Still, if it's something that's happening routinely it means it will go on record as a nuisance. It is anti-social behaviour so if it happens regularly there can be consequences.

Don't play music at them, it will simply further convince them that they're perfectly justified. Plus, it's much easier to sleep through noise than to go to sleep with noise still going on. If they're staying up late, it's probably not going to make a big difference to them if you're making noise in the morning, as they'll still be fast asleep.

Just keep going over and telling them to turn it down, preferably as a group. You can explain that you're going to start making noise complaints if they carry on, but don't give them a timeline or ultimatum on that because they'll just assume it's fine once it passes. Bear in mind though, they're pretty young and probably pretty immature. They are going to want to have the occasional party or late night. It's just not fair if it's every week, try to reach some kind of compromise rather than going in guns blazing.

In the short term, maybe buy some earplugs (was is better than foam) and try really hard not to let it get you. You can learn to sleep at a different noise level to what you're used to, but the more stressed you let it make you the harder it will be to get that skill down.

I used to have very annoying noisy neighbors. After telling them in person that fucking 2am was NOT the time to make noise i started calling the cops on them 2 minutes after 11pm (law here states no loud noises after 11). They stopped the ruckus after the second visit, although it smelled like weed on a grand scale, not the time you'd want a visit from the police haha.

They now come and warn/ask me in advance when they have a party planned, much much better that way. I dunno about the person who said the police takes hours to show up for noise complaints but around here it never takes them more than 15 minutes...

If you're in the UK this group might be able to help?

Step 1. Ask nicely.
Step 2. Talk to the landlord, have him/her ask them.
Step 3. Talk to the police, have them ask them.

If after that process of escalation they are still making noise, you have a couple of options. Wage a guerrilla war back with noise of your own (not usually terribly effective), campaign to get them evicted (depends on your land lord), or move.

Noisy neighbors are hell. If you live in an apartment complex and you're constantly subjecting other people to your bass/parties/music, then you're a cockroach. If someone asks you to be quiet and you STILL keep it up, you deserve every dire fate the world chooses to visit upon you. Being unable to control your need to be loud is for children. Hope you get your situation sorted out.

This seems like the most sane advise so far.
I have called and been called the police for noise issues.

Playing music back at them will not help. It just gives then the right to say " Well, you were doing it too".

Just call the police on them every time they're still playing music after allowed times. It will probably take a while for that to take effect, but it should help in the long run.
