So lately for a while now I have been wanting to make a letsplay/walkthrough of some of my favorite games. I was wondering what are some ways that I could do this? I am hoping to get a new gaming laptop in the future so I can start recording my own content. I want to know how do you record your own gameplay videos and upload them? Also, do I have to have commentary in order to make money of letsplays? I am kind of shy of my own voice and I hope that maybe I can have no commentary in my videos but still make money. Is that ok?

If you go to the "Creators and Partners" section at the bottom of a YouTube page you can find plenty of resources to help. You should also take a look at the "Copyright" link in the same area. As for being shy about your voice - A lot of people have that concern when they first start but with time and practice it can be worked on and you can get to the point where you are confident in yourself.
