Me: Hey *Girl Name Here*!
Girl: Hey!
Me: Hey, you wanna go out sometime?
Girl: You mean like a date?
Me: Do you want it to be?

After that it can go anywhere, but that right there is always a good set up. Just invite her to a movie, or a carnival, something along those lines. Something informal that is fun regardless if you have any romance going. From my experience a school dance is not the place to start out, but that may be because I don't dance.

I used a note.

And then she was a crazy ***** and I cancelled.

And now shes an even crazier *****..

And I'm scared.

OT: I talk to the girl and just talk about what she does, explaining what I do, what my favorite hobbies are, etc. Not invasive just curious. If there is interest, I ask if she wants to hang out. If there is none at all, I just continue the conversation until I have an reason to leave. (Unless she's being really judgmental. If that happens I just turn away or leave.)

Being a student and a huge commuter my only time to flirt is on the bus.

Don't worry, I locked the door behind me. Your other victims are still down there.

Well, I saw this in a movie once but I'm thinking about trying it out...
Turns out that the embedding was disabled, so watch it here:

In all seriousness, never actually asked a girl out, I'm pretty hopeless. When I find that right moment, I'd probably be straight forward and just ask if she wanted to see a movie or something.

My pickup line is "Hi." Best one ever. As for the actual question, I don't say "do you want to ..." I say "we should ..." Keep it casual.

I still haven't really worked out a specific strategy that I stick with, but it often revolves around asking a girl what she's up to over the next few days, before asking if I could occupy any of her free time in some manner or another. Pretty standard.

Hell, if I know... I've only ever legitimately asked out one girl before... I got turned down, of course...<.<

Best method: Arrow with note attached. (Hit with medieval ladies)

Worst method: Nuke with note attached. (Hit with no ladies; may hit all of the ladies)

True story.

Oh goodie, but I don't say "victims", doesn't do good for morale.
To be honest, they've formed a culture. They like being called victims. I think the idea that they're all victims and therefore in it together really bonds them as a group. Unfortunately, it's spoiled somewhat by the whole 'cannibalism' thing.
They started eating each other! Oh noes

Well I decided to end it all, pumped a deadly gas in there. There was some scraping at the door but it finally stopped, better burn this place down so no one finds them though.

Threaten any of their pets. Gets 'em every time.

In all seriousness, I do what any socially well adjusted man does: Stumble around the issue for a few minutes with small talk and a long improvised speech, then finally pose the question. Surprisingly enough, works each time, though that might have something to do with the women that I tend to fancy liking some awkwardness. >///<

Hello, wanna go out for coffee one of this days?

If she says yes:
- Cool, is tomorrow (X time) good for you?

If she says no:
- SCREW YOU
Eh, if you want to mess with them, like, I, in my more misanthropic days did, you just go Van Damme (See: Jean-Claude Van Damme, See: Emotionless) and say with a straight face and cold dead tone: "You will die alone." then walk away. You have no idea how much that messes with peoples heads. >.> I was a troubled kid, okay, this amused me back then.

Usually, I'm no good at speaking to girls I don't know in person, so I write notes, or ask on the phone.

Girls I do get to know, however, say I am charming, and most girls I have been in relationships with have been friends for quite some time.
