Crying on the bathroom floor, rocking back and forth while listening to Adele. Cry the blues away.

I find that my mind quite often pops out of this world and not one of the many that I have made for my entertainment. And when I say often I mean frequently, very frequently.

...........

What?

Music! Mostly metal of the heaviest kind. Playing my drums can help, depending on if I'm angry or sad. Also, food!

A nice round of TF2 helps. If I don't have time for a game, giving this song a listen perks me right up!

really depends on what breed of unhappy i am. if im frustrated or angry i play video games. if im sad i watch the funniest things i can find. if im anxious (which is a common problem for me) then if the previous fails i go for a hard run and just push my body to its limit.

I'm one if those "glass half full" people. Whenever I'm upset, I just stop being so after half an hour or so. Like 2 weeks ago. My PC BIOS corrupted (for reasons currently unknown) and I took my hard drive out so I could use it with my laptop (I have a case that allows it to be used with a USB port). Well, somehow, I managed to drop the hard drive in the case, damaging both. I tested the hard drive in my friend's PC and it's gone.
So, I lost over 1 TB of data (a lot of which is work from a programming course a year ago), need a new hard drive and have to get the BIOS flashed. Oh, and I can't play any of my games for another week or two.
I was annoyed for a couple of hours, but now I'm over it. I still retain all the knowledge of programming and it gives me a reason to replay all my games.

Russell Howard's Good News cheers me up, apparently. I was feeling low so pulled it up on YouTube and felt miles better afterwards. I love watching videos of cats and kittens, too, or just watching my cats. They're so good at making me feel good. Yes, I'll be a crazy cat woman in forty years' time, but dammit, I'll be a HAPPY crazy cat woman!

Video games help but the nuclear option is Punisher: War Zone. Something about that movie...it's happiness on a disc.

The Smile Song is potent and helps to bring about happiness. Another MLP song that helps:

I just watch this little guy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/TranquilSuicide/Avatars/23kfkk.gif

For hours.

For some reason this tiny jumping turtle shrinks my world in a tiny bright bubble of joy.

I'll listen to some of my favorite songs, play a light-hearted game, watch a funny youtube video, or do some rant drawing (which usually involves me scribbling something funny to express and vent my frustrations)

I logically disassemble the reasons for why I'm down. I then either dismiss each bit if it's something silly, develop a plan if I'm worried about something bad that could happen, or let it logically remain if appropriate. I'll deal head on with whatever's left.
