OT: I always hit enemies with special tactics. This isn't me bragging or anything, but give me any military situation and I can formulate some tactic for coming out of the scenario with victory. In this case, I'd simply snipe any monsters that came my way. Crossbows would work just as well in times before sniper rifles were around...
