How do you counter campers and g18 aimbo noobs?

How does the G18 thing work? I tried using one and it's alright, but when I see people killcam me with two they seem to be pinpoint accurate.

One is good enough, but when akimbo'ed, G18s appear to have the smallest crosshair in the game for dual weapons (i tested). It gets even smaller with steady aim, making them essentially automatic shotguns with no range limitations. The low damage is compensated by one of the highest rates of fire in the entire game, which is doubled on akimbo. There's recoil, but it's very controllable and with a little experience you can spray these and kill people mid-range, becoming even more deadly with scavenger, stopping power and steady aim. Not to mention they're pistols. Sidearms. A sniper's best friend.

I think they're currently the game's most overpowered weapon, and only because of the abnormal crosshair size.

Thank you for the information, I may have to unlock akimbo to give it a go.

But isn't this a bug? Shouldn't they be less accurate when dual wielded?

I played it during the free weekend and at a friends house. I actually liked it, and I thought I would hate it too.
The only reason I played it i n the first place is to justify and get things to rip on it. But I had a ton of fun playing it.

play a game like ETQW that takes skill and where camping is one of the worst things you can do, simply put you stay still = you die.

What is ETQW?

ETQW stands for Enemy Territory Quake Wars, it came out in 2007 and is a hardcore game that has a very steep learning curve, infact it takes about 80hours just to learn the maps and get to a reasonable standard. Not suprising when there is 12 maps all 1km sqaure big. Then you have the teams, the GDF (humans) and Strogg (aliens) they both have different classes and methods (both do same job with differently). Then you have to learn all the objectives per map, learn to use the weapons, the Vehicles, Land, Sea and Air and the Artillary guns and deployables such as Anti Personel turrets and Anti vehicle turrets.

These trailer sums up the game great. best bit is that it is really cheap, you can pick it up at Play.com for £1.98, I bought the collectors edition for £8 2 years ago. Don't let the low price put you off or think it is a really bad game, the game rocks but did not sell alot sadly due to bad marketting by Acitivision who published it at the same time as Call of Duty 4, no prizes for guessing which one they cared about.

There's one thing that counters everything: Riot shield, Blast shield, your favorite pistol (Not a god damn machine pistol, mind you.) your favorite special grenade, I like flashes, scavenger, your favorite second perk, mine being hardline, and commando. Counter glocks? Use the shield, they'll shoot at you, then quickswap, aim, and fire. Counter knifers? Your shield is surprisingly good at this. Hell, I once had three people trying to knife me at the same time. Can't get back attacked, ever, and for some reason it's hard to get front attacked. Then you just quick swap after they try to knife you, and KNIFE THEM! Which is why I keep commando on my shielder. Counter tubers? Well, unless they're die hard tubers, and use danger close, just use your blast shield. Works wonders. Hell, even makes you survive being stuck* with semtex. *You will not survive if YOU get stuck, but if your shield gets stuck, you will. Counter snipers? Use the shield. But be smart, they have the best weapon against you, able to exploit every pixel that can be shot. I really like the shield. Gives you the extra reaction time with campers, too. Then when they're distracted with the shield, they have no idea what you're capable of. They think that you're hopeless. They think that you will move up and try to bash them, then they out flank you and knife you. They think that if you swap weapons it'll take a whole second, because you have a shotgun or machine pistol, and they'll just shoot you. They think that if they stick you, you'll die. All of these are wrong. You'll quickswap to a pistol, and kill them before they can react. You'll walk up, but then, quickswap and knife the bastard, quick, clean, and unexpected. Your shield will be stuck, then you just bash the fucker, and you live and get assisted suicide kill points. Just be smart, if you're good, you can counter something with something. Ironically enough, one class allows ME at least, to counter them all, and with my skill, and love for pistols, still effectively kill.

Never actually tried Akimbo G18s but I do not like using a single G18. They don't make you invincible though. Shotguns can easily best it at close range providing your reaction time is decent enough. Snipers will beat it at long range and even close range if you are very good at quickscoping.
If you are looking for weapons that can counter it in it's own range then go for the Spas and Akimbo Magnums.

Campers are very easy to counter. Partly due to the fact that the killcam exists. Find out where they are by watching it and boom his ass. 98% of the time, mr camper will be where you last saw him. Grenades, noobtube and RPGs are very efficient at killing them. You can also try flashbangs but if he's smart he may shoot randomly so be careful.

But if you can't do well at that game with a UMP FMJ just uninstall it, seriously that gun is a sniper rifle with 28 bullets, great blind fire accuracy and total stability. It kills in one shot to the chest with Stopping Power.

Don't bullshit please. The UMP doesn't kill with one shot, it kills with a minimum of 3. 2 with stopping power at average shotgun range. It probably kills in 1 in Hardcore but so do many other guns. It also has very noticable recoil, long range shots are tricky, especially with the silencer.

If they're noob strategies, play better and learn to beat them. NOT running headlong into them would be a good start.

The best counter in that game, as I call it, is what I call "The Sex Class"

It consists of a Rocket Launcher of choise (preferably one that can shoot people, and not just helicopters or planes [and no Thumper, because I said so]) and a Riot Shield.

You choose your perks, either Marathon Runner/Commando or Scavenger/Danger Close, with the third perk being whatever you feel like it.

Throwning Knives to piss more people off.

Its the perfect counter, for everything. AND, if you find it not the perfect counter, it lets you blow off some much needed steam (After all, you will LOVE hearing "Whos the fucking asshole who kept killing me with Rockets" in the post-game lobby).

IF, however, you decide NOT to go with the Sex Class, its a matter of luck. Grenades work well against campers. CoD MW2 is really set up in a Camper friendly way, so best of luck to you.

Seriosuly, throw a grip on that thing with some stopping power, and you WILL destroy anyone with akimbo G18's.

As for campers, a well placed 'nade or AT4 shot can flush em out. But if they are too far away, I tend to just counter-snipe the shit outta them.

You must be a rarity, knifing riot shielders is one of the easiest tricks in the book. You simply wait for them to bash you, then, knife them in the head. Add commando or a tactical knife and it becomes even easier.
