How do you deal with ignorant morons?

It seems like too many people around you have a SERIOUS PROBLEM with every opinion you have, and seem to argue for the sake of arguing. How do you deal with them?

No, I'm not asking for advice, I just wanna see how others deal with them. I'm about to resort to a can of Raid and a lighter.

Raid isn't flammable, use hair spray.

I usually ignore them, but if they're persistent I laugh and make several sarcastic remarks. I don't find any point in attempting to reason with them or argue with them, so if they're going to continue to act as though they 'know it all,' I'll continue to not care. If they aim at me, however, it will become my aim to make them feel/look stupid by pointing out how little it actually matters.

A few well-placed, intelligent remarks and they forget how 'smart' they are. And if they don't, everyone around will know how dumb they appear.

I'd point out that they're imbeciles for using two words with the same meaning to emphasize a point. Just because you can use repetition doesn't mean that you should.

I just don't give a shit what faceless voices on the internet say, although sometimes I like to bait them when I've had a bad day in real life

In real life I just close the conversation and walk away. If they persist I tell them to f*** off.

When it comes to gaming just use your friends list. You don't have to live next door to the people on it, I put people on who I've had a good session with and now have a great network of similar skilled/minded players to me.

Personally nothing annoys me more when someone acts like a sarcastic [bleep] at me, making it seem there so superiour (excuse the spelling) that I should get on my knees and beg for forgiveness. Then I simply either:

A) Ignore the useless git
B) Prove him wrong to something I might say or type with an easy event. Like someone did ealier today on that FF-VII Thread.

I usually say something completely irrelevent and than look at them wierd until they walk away. I don't usually bother arguing with them, not much point really.

On the internet, use irony and your superior intellect to betray their ignorance to the world. in real life, just sing at the top of your lungs, they will run away. If neither of those work, stage a bloody coup de ta and have them executed. Or you could just ignore them, if you want to take the easy, craven way out.

Depends. I prefer to intelectually put them down, but I try to be cautious just incase a smart jerk decides to point out flaws I may have made, making me look stupid instead. If they are ignorant jerks though, I will not be kind. This is more common on youtube, as that is where the ignorant idiots are. There are 'idiots' here but they tend to be at a much higher level and either just have horrid views, or atleast can write. Though the stereotypical idiot somehow surfaces here.

Agreed. I had some radom guy post a note on my profile saying 'green day rule, mcr suck'.
When the comment I'd posted was on an MCR video with no mention of green day.
