At the moment I feel completely alone, despite the fact that I have three family members around the home, I have friends that I am speaking with currently and all that jazz that makes up social interaction.

Usually, to curb this feeling, I immerse myself in games for a few hours, and that turns the trick. Even repetitive grinding in MMO's distracts me from the fact that I never really feel fulfilled socially.

Everyone gets lonely. What do you do to make yourself feel less dead inside?

I immerse myself with people. That usually works. If not, I listen to music.

Well I usually have no family members around me I can really talk to, and at the moment there's actually no one around, and in real life I have literally 0 friends.

How I deal with this loneliness? I can't. It's slowly killing me and when it really gets me down I just can't escape from it no matter what I try.

Give your heart to Jesus. You'll never be alone again.

And if you're not the religious type, you could always buy a hooker. At least you can find solace in the fact that they're even more dead inside than you are.

Just look forward to the next social outing. Each one that is cancelled kills me inside.

1) I organize Laser tag just for the hell of it.
2) Games / Music / Other basic recreational things to keep you busy.
3) Masturbation.
4) Talking with others (although I don't like humans and being social, which is ironic because I don't want to feel alone).
5) Punching something, I would recommend taking a sledge hammer and breaking some shit in a safe place. Good for anger too.
6) Writing, being immersed in anything in the field of the arts will help you shake the feeling. Focusing on your muse helps immensely.
7) Suicide. This always does the trick. But personally I don't like the after-effect.
8) Kidnapping others. You won't feel alone then right?

"Everyone gets lonely."

Not everyone. I'm quite comfortable with being alone.

I stop being lonely and start being awesome.

Am, normally I show up at someone's house with a packet of biscuits.
Combined with coffee and mindless chat it's the ultimate cure.

I do nothing. The more selfaware I become, the quicker I will become enlightned. Additionally, I try to mix it up with music. This usually results in increased anxiety; anger at compressed level.

But, hell! I enjoy every moment of it. Alone or not.

Being alone is being strong.

Than you can only rely on yourself and care about one person only.

As a matter of fact, being alone, you find yourself with A LOT less troubles and worries.
You just have to look at the bright side.

Force myself to go out, or talk to my friends. Even if I think that I don't want to speak to them, or I feel like ignoring everyone, I make myself do it. It ends up making me feel better. If I'm still not encouraged, a little bit of Manowar and then I'm usually up for another try. I guess most of us feel lonely at some stage, we just have to try to pull ourselves out of it. Sitting around, waiting for it to go away, well that won't help. Unless you enjoy it. I used to, but then I started taking my medication and it didn't feel so nice anymore.

I only really have one or two close friends but they live quite far from my house. (About an hours drive.)

So most of the time I'm alone and that suits me just fine. I enjoy solitude.
