Don't worry, I will definitely let you know in advance before I make it anywhere near Victoria. I have a lot to sort out myself, including swapping accommodation from Unilodge to a mate's place in the suburbs and sorting out other miscellaneous stuff. In fact I don't think I'll be going anywhere till the semester one break in..June/July-ish time.

That should work out well, we've got exams starting the 21st of June, then a week off, but really even if were during the middle of uni I could easily come up to Melbourne for one night, it's not really that far from Geelong.

It's a deal! I guess just PM me later on, or add me on Facebook or something. Whatever works best.

Oh sorry, I am still working my head around Australian geography. I presumed Geelong to be like a zone somewhere near Melbourne. Anyway..while I work through the general lay of the land, I'll have my people call your people and we'll iron out the finer details once I have enrolled and sorted out the academic hoohah that goes with international students. That way I'll know my workload/exam timetable/etc and can book a (presumable a flight for I do not fancy what appears to be a 10 hours bus ride) trip to Melbourne accordingly.

weight is my problem, not got a job so i'm sitting around a lot. will hopefully get a warehouse one sorted so i can actually work and exercise at the same time and cut down on food again. never needed lunch through my high school and collage years (8 years) always had the energy, i eat because i'm bored.

Geelong is an hour south of Melbourne, so it's not too bad to get up too. I've got good friends from Melbourne I visit every so often, and you get used to travelling up the highway. You're also waaaaayyyy better to fly out of Canberra, the bus trip would be horrible and pointless.
