Jack And Caloman (Sorry, not a Digimon Fan, Can't spell it right): Why do you RP for a Digimon? What does his/her opinion add to the conversation?

There's a couple of people I love chatting with here. Outside of that, the vast majority give good debate, or the odd funny response, and there's only about 2 or 3 people I actively dislike. They don't show up that much though, so it's not much of a problem.

Overall I really like the community here.

Like any forum with a large user bases you get some good discussions going due to a wide and diverse base of opinions and knowledge, which can produce some very interesting and challenging discussions, even if no clear decision is reached

And like all forums with a large user base, you get tards who deserve to be shot who are to narrow minded to see other points of view, or even truly understand their own and the reasons behind it, who mindlessly troll and never have and never will add anything to society on any sort of scale.

This sums it all up nicely. That being said, I've rarely seen any trolls here. There are some here, for sure, but the smart-guy-to-troll ratio is in the favor of the ineligent here.

Okay, okay. Idiotic meme aside, i generally feel that The Escapist is a place of liberalism. While this is supposed to be a good thing, it can result in a bit of hive-mind thinking. If you don't agree with the liberal views of the majority of the boards for example you often get targeted. However liberalism is a funny thing and people with an open enough mind are willing to accept your view even if they disagree with it.

People here tend to be smarter than most other online forum goers and people on instant messaging services. People are less superficial and willing to tackle difficult subjects like what is wrong and right, particularly things to do with ethics and morals. I've also found this community to be one of the most accepting to date. Most people are friendly towards you regardless of your race, gender, sexual orientation and so on. Which is a lot more than can be said for the real world where you still get such open discrimination.

Long story short; i heart you guys.
