Yahtzee is more funny when he hates a game. I dont take his comments and use them advise.

I have the same approach he does - act cynical and expect everything to suck, so that you're pleasantly surprised when something is actually good (because if you expect everything to be fantastic you'll be constantly disappointed). So I try a lot of games and stick with the ones that I actually like. Obviously my opinions will never be exactly the same as Yahtzee's but you have to bear in mind that he has a distinctive review style because he's creating entertainment - he mentions aspects of the game that he likes and dislikes, but gives particular emphasis to those he dislikes because that's his style. I don't think he actually hates most of the games because he doesn't hestitate to tell us when a game is so bad that he stops playing it and he does appear to actually play most of them thoroughly before reviewing them.

I'm usually pretty apathetic, and/or I laugh at how wrong or right he is. Battling with camera controls is actually something I kind of enjoy, for example.

Yathzee reviews is a show, fun, but still a show.

I make my own opinion on things.

It varies. On RPGs in particular I feel like he doesn't really give a lot of them a fair chance, he casually skims them and refuses to get immersed, naming his main character SirWonksAlot or something. I think sometimes he doesn't really get the game, he just reviews it from a purely casual gamer perspective.

I kind of found him to breeze through the Team Fortress 2 section of the orange box review.
I thought it was the best part of the orange box. He spent 15 seconds on it, and he didn't even say anything critique-related.
