I love gaming, pretty much all sorts. I love interesting gameplay mechanics and narratives and have a plethora of games in which i would like to play through and experience.

However, I don't have the time to do so.

I have a 9-5 job, I live with my gf who likes games...but not all the time, as well as a number of other projects i'm involved with..(a youtube channel if you care to know...i don't know if i'm allowed to post the link)

How do you guys find the time to game? Some nights i stay up late and get some gaming in...but then im in a bad state for work the next day...

I dunno, i just get frustrated that there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything i want done.

Do you have the same issues??

I'm just going into college this year, so I pretty much had a ton of free time to play games. Hell, I still do for the summer.

Yay for highschool!

I play my DS?

Honestly, I talk about games and just nerd the hell out. Like here, for example:

So Ig uess the worst one that failed was I referenced P2 Innocent Sin by saying, and i kid you not "you are my Maya Amano, and I'm your Tatsuya Suou, so lets make an Innocent Sin for some External Punishment". Amazingly the girl knew what i was talking about, and giggled before walking away. though I later asked her out like a normal person.

.... I know, its amazing I got rid of my V-Card.

...

...Life? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with this 'life' that you refer to.
And let me say that you are a better man than me for it good sir :).

All joking aside, I'm currently a college student that just ended his year almost a month ago that is knowing working at a part time job in Radioshack for about 5-7 hours each work day.

I usually just take advantage of my work-less days and play games from there. Or either try to improve my programming skills since my main goal is to become a game programmer. That's how i do it anyway so I'm not sure if anything i have just said in this post has any use to you.

After work?

Yeah, 8-5 job really cuts into the day. But I have the weekends still.

Wouldn't it be nice if we only had to sleep 8 hours per week instead of per day? That and instant teleportation would be my superpower.

EDIT: Also, the internet really cuts into the day. If you want more free time, turn off the computer.
Wouldnt it be nice if we worked whilst asleep, like something out of Surrogate (even though the movies was crap), then you wake up feeling rested and the day to yourself...

Haha...i know the feeling

Once i spent an entire night playing COD out of procrastination when i had an exam the next day right before i had to drive 3 hours back to my parents house...

i must say that i didnt do so well on the test...and i have vowed never to drive so tired again....

procrastination can be a killer

I might play 1-2 hours a week total of gaming, otherwise, I'm doing other things.

Yeah, gaming ain't exactly a big part of my life.

You are such a nice person thinking that I have a life... bless you. Only two things are in my life. Video Games, and my Books. Everything else has decided to keep away.

I am in the same boat...i just wish i had time to play more whilst still doing everything i do now...

I guess gaming is the lowest priority and so is the first thing to go

It gets really hard some days, you go to your local dealer and you just don't have enough money but you really want some. Some times you have to hide it from your family, friends, and coworkers because they wouldn't approve of your habits. Some days you just crave it so much that you run into the bathroom at work, break off a piece, form a line, and snort it all....oh you said gaming.
Well pretty much the same thing for gaming, except for the whole bathroom and snorting thing.

i dunno what else they might think i was doing....

I may have actually done this before. Especially when playing MGS: Peacewalker or Dissidia...

A better question would be "how do I fit everything else into my life".

It's basically all I do right now, though I hope for that to change. Too much gaming time means you get bored of games faster, and nobody wants that.

I don't have too much of an issue despite having a job but that could be because it's a summer and I have no life.
