How do you get PSP screen onto a TV?

So anyone who knows me knows that play Handhelds, but don't use there portability. So I herd that there is a way (like a cord or some such) that a PSP screen can be put on a TV screen.

So anyway my question is how is this done? And a follow up does this work on HD and SD TVs or just HD?

I believe things like those just work on HD TVs, looking at just the type of cable. I could definitely be wrong here though.

You should also note that PSP 1000's cannot output to a TV, you need either 2000, 3000, or the GO.
