Yeah, I bypass it by activating the challenge, then going around doing whatever and I get a tiny bit of exp on the side wherever I go without deliberately going there.Aby_Z said:That sounds like it'd be the worst kind of grinding... The rest seems interesting, though. I may just have to check it out one day.PoisonUnagi said:The cool thing about it is that you don't actually HAVE to participate in races, you can just drive around the city doing odd jobs for people.Aby_Z said:Interesting... But I do, however, play a certain MMORPG that has zero grind...
There is one grind-ish optional aspect, where you patrol massive areas of the city, and basically a bunch of rings pop up and you have to drive over them. Each one gives you 1 exp point, so it's next to useless.
Damn, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the title for this thread. [sub]I miss playing Tony Hawk.[/sub]no oneder said:Well, I line my board with the rail and then... you're not talking about this are you?
Ahh, I can understand that hatred for MMO style grinding. I've been able to avoid most of that since the only MMO I ever really got into had an early level cap and didn't really require much level grinding.Kurokami said:snip
I actually know what you mean; countless times I've started talking to myself, projecting my voice into random objects, items, or enemies within games while grinding. Insanity can be a wonderful asset.riottrio said:snip
