I stop playing when i get to the point i am no longer enjoying the game, whether my reasons be rage or loss of interest i almost all of the time will find something else to do.

Laugh it off. Laughter cures everything. Whenever I die in a game, I'll be the one laughing into the mic, praising the guy who just killed me.

It's only a game.

I either listen to some angry metal, or I play some angry metal on my guitar.
Always helps me cool down.

I RAGE!
...for about a second.
Then I let it go and go on with my life.

Although my battlegroup in WoW pisses me off more than anything, so almost every time I PvP I end up quitting to game to play Space Rangers 2, or something, to cool down before I break stuff.

By destroying the current source of my rage. Be it an enemy, a bystander, or on object, nothing incurs my wrath for long.

I bottle it all up until I become a seething ball of hatred and rage... Then I go take a nap and have weird dreams that usually involve explosions. When I wake up I feel better. Or I just play a game where it doesn't matter if I'm good or not because I can just make everything explode. IE: GTA.

I just... I don't seem to be having fun anymore. So I ask: How do you handle this sort of thing?
Play everything on Easy.

Oh, multiplayer? Hmm...play with people about your level, or make some friends and play with them. My problem with Dungeons and Dragons Online was that I would rarely find people that would form a strategy - they'd charge in on Hard or higher and wipe. So, I found a permadeath guild - basically Diablo 2 Hardcore mode, self-enforced. It was exactly what I wanted.

Also, your avatar is awesome.

You stop playing for a minute while you loudly complain about it. For example, while playing a Spiderman game and being unable to jump to a certain ledge without falling, I put down the controller and said aloud "So where does this leave me, game? It leaves me stranded in the middle of nowhere flinging myself off of shit like an absolute dick, dressed in a skintight black suit that's only *slightly* homo-erotic, and all in all, I look like a complete fucking moron in front of the whole New York City because their hero and savior *can't even jump onto a fucking ledge'! Thanks for that, you bastards!"
If it really becomes a problem, play a different game for a while. Or better yet, do something else. Like watching videos of people getting angry, or perhaps you'd enjoy Yahtzee verbally disemboweling stuff. I find that really helps me.

I go to sleep, it is very relaxing. Acting on anger releases good feeling hormones that cause positive reinforcement, quite unlike the myth of the Catharsis effect.

I crack my fingers and actually start playing unleashing my wrath upon all who stand before me.
