Gaming / working out / watching series as stated above is pretty much what devours my free time.

(Free time being the time when i'm not working / out socialising).

Carter??!!

anyways, i browse the internet until either sheer boredom puts me to sleep, or my brain shuts off from the overload of dumbfuckerey! then i awake in a pool of sweat, piss, and other bodily fluids that i'm pretty sure aren't mine and repeat the vicious cycle.

and on an even seriouser note: hang out with friends, watch funny vids online, or sleep.

Lately, I've found a great thing to kill the time - a pencil and a knife/a pair of compasses. Sharpen your pencil for 15 minutes. I think that's going to be my new passion.

Does nobody read these days?
What did you say? I was too busy laughing with Terry Pratchett's "Sourcery".
Good answer. I'm a big fan of Pratchett too.

Too bad he's suffering from Alzheimer... Hopefully, they'll find a cure thanks to his donations. Of course, he's already being treated and there are signs of improvement, but our sir Pratchett might have problems writing another great book.
It will be a sad day for world literature when he dies.
I know a little about Alzheimer's, so I know that a cure is unlikely, but for his (and many others) sake I hope they do, and fast.

Well, Alzheimer isn't as deadly as cancer or tumor. It causes memory problems and makes the process of aging faster.

But hey, there are few things positive. You can treat Alzheimer by being active socially (we are talking about Pratchett... Few millions of people know him and a lot of them met him), training your intelligence (again, Pratchett is one of the most intelligent writers I've seen). Also, he has at least 6-12 years ahead of him, more if they find a cure.

...Stem cells?

It's still a great loss.

Alzheimer's causes plaque to build up in the brain blocking the motor neurones; it also attacks the beta-amaloids on the phospholipid bilayer. (I'm actually really interested in the phospholipid bilayer - sad I know but oh well) So, yes stem cells could help to a degree but even with the help, a full cure would be very difficult to find.

You're right though, Alzheimer's isn't as deadly as cancer etc but it can lead to a reduced life-span.

That being said, I truly hope that a cure can be found and there is another another masterpiece from him.

Listen to music. Loudly.

Sing along in a different genre. Like The Who in Death Metal or Pantera in Country.
I like to sing Danzig in Lounge Singer/Robert Goulet format
