Take cup. Add teabag and sugar. Pour on boiling water. Wait for a minute or so. Stir in milk. Fetch packet of biscuits out of the cupboard.

Favorite non-alcoholic would be to just put a little milk with Coke, or Pepsi, or whatever.

I don't know how to make my other favorites. That's what professionals are for. lol

I'm afraid I'm a teetotaler, but I do love mixing alcohol-free drinks. I'm somewhere between a soda jerk, a barista, and an alchemist. I highly recommend coffee with a bit of milk, maple syrup, and brown sugar in the morning. I like to call it the Jagger Vermacchiato Latte.

Also, last time I tried combining all available beverages in equal proportions in a Burger King, the result tasted uncannily like liquid Gummi Bears. In a good way. I believe I have discovered the secret of Gummi Berry Juice. [/80snostalgia]

My current oft-used recipe is as follows.

Tall-pour (6 to 10 inches above glass):

2 parts Capt. Morgan's Spiced Silver
1 part Capt. Morgan's Coconut Rum
2 parts Pulp-free Orange Juice of your choice
1 part Ocean Spray LIGHT Fruit & Veggie Tropical Citrus

Swirl in glass before ingesting at your leisure.

Repeat as necessary...

Just about any (non-olive) martini made with Grey Goose or 3 Olive vodkas would top my list, too... I LOVE vodka; the smoother, the better.

Sadly, I'm no longer allowed to have it in the house due to the onset of grey-outs. (no memory the next day of previous night's activities... and let's just say I've been less than polite during that "lost time")

Not a fan of Jaeger... the smell of scotch puts me in a sour, if nostalgic, mood... I keep a bottle of Rumpleminze in the freezer, and I can sip a short glass of amaretto all evening.

Green Orange Juice:

1. Buy an orange.
2. Peel the orange.
3. Put the peeled orange into a glass and mash it with a fork so you get the juice.
4. Use the fork to pick up everything else from the glass so only the juice is in it.
5. Put in a few Smarties or M&Ms or w/e and mix it.
6. Drink your green crap.

what's a soda jerk?
------------------------------------------------------------

i mix both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. usually i mix alcohols to make something that all my friends cant even stand the smell of :D i'm the team tank.

JameIchnaya: 6oz Jameson, 6oz Stolichnaya.

VodQuila: 4 parts moderately priced, heavy proof vodka, 4 parts sh1t-cheap, heavy proof tequila. usually mixed in a sports bottle (bout 24oz) and leaves the distinct smell for many months to come, regardless of how little time it was in there.

Blue Moon Julius: one 12oz Blue moon frozen into slush, poured into a glass with 6oz of Tropicana. quite refreshing on a summer day. can be had with breakfast.

Non alcoholic:

Kite or Spoke: coke and sprite.

Orange Spritzer: seltzer and orange juice

Twitcher: Amp and black coffee, sixteen sugars

Herbalist Dr. Pepper and Root Beer. (see what i did there?)
