Hmm, I suppose it makes middle class housewives and art students feel wonderfully decadent or something?
Strange thing is, I can't drink normal tea anymore. Y'know, the good old cuppa with milk... it makes me nauseous. Hot milk makes my stomach curdle. Hence the love for the hippy teas!
Green tea with jasmine is ok, but you'd be amazed by the level of difference in certain ones... there are a few I've had in restaraunts that I couldn't drink because they were too bitter! Try the clipper one and see if you dig it.
I'll do that (I actually will as well). And I'm an English student, specialising in creative writing. Perhaps that's why I love poncy tea so much, then...
Edit: Black-tea-with-milk has entirely lost its appeal with me also. I thought I'd really miss it, but since I gave it up a couple of months ago I have had one cup, and it didn't impress me much.
Edit 2: Just went to Waitrose to buy some Clippers green tea. I bought some other things, but forgot the tea. I went to the health food shop on the way back, and they only had loose leaf

Should I just go for that?
