How do you pass the time waiting for an upcoming game release?

So, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is coming out soon, and I personally can't wait. What have I been doing to pass the time? Playing Bioshock, of course. My 8th or 9th playthrough, I believe. You'd think I would be playing Marvel vs Capcom 3 to prepare myself, but I decided NOT to play MvC3, to make sure I didn't burn myself out on Vs games before Ultimate came out.

Still surprised that Bioshock can surprise me, even after all these playthroughs. Hell, I'm only at Neptune's Bounty, and I've already found something I never noticed before.

So, what are all of you doing to pass the time until your next most anticipated game comes out? (probably Skyrim, for most of you).

Why don't you play MvC2, so you can fully appreciate what evolutions there have been besides a roster update.

I blink once or twice and go back to TF2, almost completely forgetting the release until the umpteenth thread about it is made on the Escapist.

I can't wait for skyrim, but I pretty much just have classes between now and then. I have 1 midterm tomorrow and 2 the next day and then I have two more days before I can play it.

My preorder for skyrim is on steam and I noticed that it unlocks at about 10pm on the 10th, yeah for living on the west coast!

In reality I just push through and play other games.

Oh man, I don't want to be mean and I really hate saying this, but here goes:

I get on with my life.

I make a new Minecraft project that will not be finished until a month after the release, since God knows that I wouldn't be able to get the game any sooner than that.

That, or focus on my studies.

Work on the rest of my crippling backlog? Seriously, nevermind the many other games I still want to get to, right now I'm juggling Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Rage, and Resistance 3, and once Skyrim comes out, they all get dropped, or at least I won't be playing them nearly as much.

Then I'll have four days (thankfully including a weekend) with Skyrim before Saints Row 3 comes out and steals my full attention.

After that I expect I'll have to juggle all six. Which ought to take me until like March.

I'm normally really hyped for something (ACR for example), then I pre-order it and suddenly I get really relaxed about it and it's out of my mind, because I know that it's coming directly to my house on day one.

And when I don't want to pre-order something, I do school work, post on these forums or play something else. Like TF2.

Yes I am waiting for Skyrim, I pass the time by crying mostly because it isn't out yet and when I run out of tears from dehydration, I play Morrowind.

Unfortunately for me, i'm not really excited for any of the releases.After Catherine and Dark souls, everything else is kinda meh for me.Except skyrim, but i'm going to wait for the GOTY edition.

As of now, I am waiting for Skyrim. This week, I think I will attend play practice until 6, and then do my homework. That's how bored I think I will be this week.

Guess I'm kind of waiting for Skyrim to pop up at the moment. The past ten days, or more, I've been playing Dark Souls like crazy. Got 1 ½ playthrough to go until I can put it aside, so it'll last for a little while longer.
After that I'll find some other game to play. :F

I have a life outside games you know. I usually just go about my days as I usually do, or if it's something I really care about I geek out about it with my fellow nerds on forums or in person.
