Do you belive in fate? That everything is set out in front of you now matter what. Or that you have control over your own future and that every action you do was your choice and that whatever happens to you was, well luck?

Me i think that fate doesn't exist, everything is up to chance buuuut you can't change the past so doesn't that mean that you were alsways going to make that descion anyway? Yes you can change your mind, but then you always were going to do that no? Is still doesn't change the fact that you made the first choice?

I kinda like the idea of time travel but think the whgole Paradox thing is kinda stupid, i could go back in time kill my own parents and still exsist because the timeline would split into two alternate worlds my world where i would exist and have parents the othere where they didn't.

(I edited it because the oringinal post was ment to me a draft and i clicked post instead of preveiw, hope tis makes a bit more sence.)

Oh and if your the first quote the Dr Who speach about time, you win a prize. (I wanted the whole speach. And the pirze is a air guitar.)

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly, wobbly, timey-wimey...stuff.

What do I win?

W-what? I would answer this but that was so poorly written, it's unbelievable.

OT: Linear.

Most people think time is like a river that flows swift and sure in one direction, but I have seen the face of time- and I can tell you, they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm.

Time is like a vagina. It looks impenetrable and intimidating on the outside, but once you're in there's really nothing there.

Ain't it just?

OT: I believe that time doesn't actually progress, but exists simultaneously with all other times and universes, and that linear time is actually an illusion brought about the human mind's inability to comprehend all of reality at any given moment. Moreover, I believe that there is no fixed progression through said reality, and that it forever changes depending on the actions of animated bodies within eternal space.

well time travel no were so far from that... will take hundreds of years...

as for how i think about fate (you sort of asked this but in a weird way then changed direction) I think we always have a choice A good B bad C £uck it.

I think fate is a way for people to feel good about have no control over any aspect of any thing that is existent.

Time is a word we use to describe the perception of change from one moment to the next. Time, does not exsist as a force or law like gravity or motion, but is closer in many ways to a belief.

OK i read. I feel I understood and got it and to me this is as deep as shallow wells of thought get

what you just said is its random but that split reality's are like records of infinite amounts of possibility.

There is no future. There is no past. Do you see? Time is simultaneous, an intricately structured jewel that humans insist on viewing one edge at a time, when the whole design is visible in every facet.

A weak attempt at psuedo-intellectualism, really brought down by the bad spelling and the fact your ideas make no sense, or aren't being explained clearly. Would not read again.

Think for a second. If someone invented time travel, wouldn't they have come back to at least this time?

Science would disagree with you.

I believe time travel is impossible because time and any time is just a label for identifying when events happened. There is no way to reverse events. Reversing events would involve reversing consciousness. And I believe that time is a good argument against God's existence. If God knows everything, he knows what's going to happen, therefore there is fate, and even though he is omnipotent he cannot change predetermined things, and if he did then that'd be shown as what he was going to do anyway.

I belive time is linear. Most timespace-theories that studies the possibility of timetravel just seem too unrealisteic (like bending timespace to travel in time).

Yea it always makes sence in my head, not so good at putting it on paper, Sigh, never mind eh.

I call it cryptic thoughts... meaning people think in a seemingly irrational way and random way that having the feeling and instant understanding of the link, that often are seemingly incompatible to another thought (thought being link) however if your open minded and think artistically with prescriptive and words you can understand the general idea and with more talk the hole pitcher. however bad spelling and grammar can make this harder i suffer from bad spelling and grammar and use spell check every 2 seconds and Google.
