How do you pick which badges to show off?

The ZP and Unskippable badges are actually lies, I've seen all the episodes, but did before I had my account/used it (I got my account with facebook, then never logged in for about a year and half), and though I've rewatched quite a few, I can't seem to say I've seen all of them.... yet.
My other badges are forum badges, which are mainly to remind myself that I do actually post, and can make decent threads (also I think I'm subtly reminding others that I do deserve to be here )

It's a simple question, how exactly did you pick which badges go into the 5 badge slots under your avatar?

Are they your favorites? Are they the ones you're most proud of? Do they tell a message or a story? Do tell.

For me personally my badges tell a short story from right to left. Joker, bomb, oh god everything's on fire! The badge on the far left is the one most people see first, and the one I'm most proud of because it's the most unique one I have, and the most difficult to get.

So what does your choice of 5 badges say about you?

Why would you have all 3 of the firey badges? Surely if you display the inferno, people can infer you have the other 2?

As for me, I picked the funniest and/or least sucky looking ones I've earned.

I primarily choose the ones that let people know how long I've been here (since at least 2011). Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a lurker - especially back then - and I don't create threads all that often, so I'm pretty indistinguishable from people who just signed up yesterday. It's made worse by the fact that I didn't bother to remember anyone before Daystar's rise to fame.

Well the one in the middle is the one I've aimed for to get since I saw it the first time and noticed it.
The others around it just make it symetrical with two ?? on each side... also means I'm a bit mystical, maybe?

Form left to right:
The Hero: One thing I wish I was.
Toasty: I am very sensitive and compassionate person.
It's Not Easy Being Green: I do have a bit of a temper.
Master Sword: Goes with The Hero.
Follow the Light: Again, goes with The Hero. I strive to be a good person.

Ahh.. I completely misread it the first time and I somehow missed where you said you have your story progressing right to left. (interesting choice btw)
