How do you play multiple games?

So the question here is do you play games one at a time? Or do you take on multiple games at once, playing a little of each one when your time allows it? Personally I focus on one game, beat it and then spend my time on the next one. So what about you guys? Do you "multi-task" on the games you play?

I do it fairly often, as lately I've been really unmotivated to even finish a game. I'd like to be able to focus on one at a time, but lately I can't.

Mutliple games at once. If I just stick to one I tend to get sick of it, and I lose the will to play it at all. Playing multiple games at once extends longevity and keeps me interested in them all.

right now, I guess my main single player game is Darksiders (just bought for $20. Worth it.) and my main multiplayer is a mix of Magic: The gathering: Duels of the planeswalkers, and both MW2 and BC2.

I also need to get back to playing some of them games I bought during the steam sales, namely The Witcher, the X-Com games, and I still need to try CS:S.

Quite a to-do list, if I say so myself.

I am constantly multi-gaming which is exhausting and usually ends up with a lot of frustration finding the right menu screen for each one. I've been trying to focus lately but I have so many staked up it's impossible.

I usually can't find more than one game at a time that actually interests me, so it gives me plenty of time to finish whatever I'm working on at a slow pace.

I usually play one at a time. I tried playing a psp game while playing on the xbox 360, I got killed multiple times on both, don't try playing with your feet...
But yeah, one at a time really, usually I jump from my xbox when I get a lil bored to watch a little tv and then get on my psp.

I usually set aside my other games if i'm playing through something awesome. Then when I finish that, I play BC2 online until I get another s-p game.

I'll usually stick to one game per console at a time, unless I get antsy and need to replay an old one in the middle.

I tend to play only one or two singleplayer games at a time until I beat them, then move on, but I'm constantly playing small sessions of certain multiplayer games (TF2, Alien Swarm, Killing Floor, to name a few).

Oh god, I instantly thought of the word 'polygamy' what the hell is wrong with me

I switch. Usually one PC game and one handheld game.

I switch back and forth if I'm not having a good night on a particular game or just need a change...the problem though is that quite often my hands will still be in "Game a" mode when I switch to "Game b" and before you know it I'm trying to crouch but throwing a grenade instead.

I usually get hooked on one game, but play others at the same time. my last instance was playing mainly Silent Hill 2, and Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda on the side. Now i'm playing Okami, Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger

Usually I'll buy one game at a time and just play that.
But a few days ago I got Borderlands and Wet in one online order, and have been playing those in equal measure. Well, I was until I finished Wet because it's so damn short.

The one big exception being Team Fortress 2. I still play that pretty much daily.
As I have for the past year. And it's still not boring.
Stop judging me.

I generally try to play 2 games at a time, alternating after dinner or breaks. Bad Company 2 then gets played online at night.

Do this count for multiplayer gaming too? If so it can be impossible not to be playing multiple games. For instance, I play FIFA 10, Left 4 Dead 2 and Battlefield: BC2 online, but I've also just started Batman: Arkham Asylum, and still have to go back to FF13, Mass Effect 2 and quite a few others.

i have a few games i play on a rotation, some rpg games require grinding, so i need something that makes me feel like i'm making progress, so i'll grid for 15 min-hour a week then play something else the rest of the time, and one multiplayer game for friends, so usually i bounce between 3-4 games at a time, if i don't play at least a littel week, i losoe track where i am and i may never finish it, so a focus is needed

I've been playing TF2 for PC and TLAD GTA4 on my PS3. Prior to me buying the PS3 I was playing Garry's mod, TF2, and a little CSS.
