How do YOU play the Sims?

I haven't played a Sims game since the Sims: Live'n Large expansion. I used to build HUNDREDS of explosive lawn gnomes and barricade my house. I would then put some balloons out front (signaling a party) and watch my neighbors die when they kicked each lawn gnome on the way to the front door. It was hilarious!

I play it by using the ultra realistic "Life" mod.

I used to put ovens in the children's rooms and got my characters to turn them on, then i wait for the fire...

I'm BAD at playing the Sims. So I have to say that I lead my little people to ruined lives. That's not the intent, it's just what I keep doing by accident.

I loved the sims when I played it a few years back (sims 1 with the hotdate expansion if I remember correctly)

I tried playing it normally with no cheats once and I HATED it, having to micromanage every aspect of this witless cretins life so I could actually get some money to build a nice house and stuff.. so the cheating began.

I wanted to see how many graves you could get in one house, so i built a nice house with a huge pool in the backyard, then moved in a family of seven put them all in the pool and removed the ladders.. seven graves. I did this twice more so this house had 21 graves in the back garden and the current occupants would get 3-4 ghostly visits EVERY night. I felt content in the creation of this ghost house

My next project was a huge empty house with every possible bit of wall having a fireplace in it. I then filled this room with wooden tables and chairs with a small gap in the middle for the sims to stand. after every fireplace was lit it was only a short amount of time until the wooden furniture turned that doorless square into a burning-screamy-death horror house while I laughed away

The universe would be fucked if I was god....
