Laugh and act like it never happened.

Seriously, that applies to almost every odd situation, learning to laugh at yourself really helps reduce the amount of awkward moments in life.

Laugh if it's something you can laugh at.

Otherwise you can sigh, raise your right brow ever so slightly, shrug, be completely obvious of your "Oh well" thoughts, and be on your way.

This happened to me once, when I was at school (was probably about 16..?). I was running round a corner in the crowded school yard, and I slipped and lost my balance on a patch of ice. Ended up on my back, lying on the floor, much to the hilarity of the surrounding students.

But I think I deflected it pretty well. I stayed there, punched the air, humorously swore once, and laughed. Didn't get up for about a minute, when somebody helped me. I got the impression that most of my audience were laughing with me rather than at, and they lost interest after a couple of minutes.

The worst thing you can do is look embarrassed, or try to make it look like nothing happened.

Just laugh.

No point in feeling all embarrassed - then other people will just think it's funnier.
Bingo. Accidental idiocy happens all the time, to everyone...no use being embarrassed over it, just laugh.

Unless you can think of something really witty really quickly to change the subject or something, it's just best to swallow your pride and laugh.

There's going to be so little down time between me falling again that I don't bother doing anything.

I like that. "Absoludicrous." Brilliant. I would be interested in more things that 1 out of 1 Dr. Ts recommended. Do you know why Mr. T was making videos like this? I've seen others in a similar vein, like the "Love Your Mother" rap.

Alternately, you could always build a time-machine and make so it never happened! Disclaimer: Scientists have no idea what would happen to the space-time continuum should minute changes to past events occur. Proceed at your own risk. Your mileage may vary.

Laugh it off. If I'm gonna look like an idiot, may as well seem like I'm willing to acknowledge it :)

The only surefire way to pull it off is to pretend that you did it on purpose. I'm afraid it's too late to do that, though.

The thumbs-up was a good call, though.

Smile back and walk it off. I remember I just came down a water slide, I stood up and immediately faceplanted onto the slide. Everyone, (~200 people) was laughing at me, but hey, what can you, it's not just funny, it's hilarious.
