Video Card

MINIMUM specs:

Minimum: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 5770 with Shader Model 3 and 896 MB VRAM, or faster

You Have: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series

Video RAM

req: 896 MB

Have: 749.9 MB
Do you buy Video Ram or is it bound to the graphics card.

Also is: Can you run it fully accurate?

Between There and There.
Country
The Wide, Brown One.
It's hardwired to the pcb of the card. No way for the average person to upgrade it.

Basically, if you have a 1Gb 5800 series card you're fine... but be warned, the listed ArmA 3 specs are still provisional and could change before release.

Is part of the video card, you will probably need a new one.

There's your answer, however, keep in mind that the minimum for a game to run means different things from game to game. For some it's the minimum playable (at 10-15 frames per second) to others it's simply the minimum for the take to run, and not crash. Chances are, if you run the minimum, or close to it, your experience might not be the best... especially with what RhombusHatesYou said about the requirements getting bumped. Both the cards listed are hefty units.

I'd bounce benchmarks of the listed against what you want/can afford. There are several great websites for this.

You will probably be able to run ARMA 3 without problems as far as the graphics card goes. The card listed as minimum is older than the one you have.

You can share memory, exchanging some of your RAM for VRAM with the price of a much poorer performance.

My PC uses some of it's regular RAM as video RAM, it might be worth a shot installing more RAM, but I don't know your PC's specs.
