I view things with my eyes.

In all seriousness though, colours and touch are the major factors as how I view things for me.

A very, very interesting question. It always interests me to think of how ancient peoples perceived the world before perspective drawing in Reniaissance Italy. Did they see the world in flat, scroll-like linear planes rather than in 3D? probably not, but I like to think they did.
Sight is the crucial sense to me, although touch is a much-overlooked subject of study.

If I may branch off scientifically for a second, how do people literally view things? Since it's impossible to look through someone else's eyes, we may never know how people percieve things, even as simple as the color red. Anyways, back to topic...

I can't really explain how I view things, because I don't know how I do. This thread's made me think...

I view the world in terms of those little bars from The Sims that determine how successful your character is, with a bit of KOTOR thrown into the mix, ie; if I don't shower, my hygiene bar goes down. I help someone in need, I get light side points. I talk to/hang out with a friend, my friend bar (or whatever it's called in the Sims) for that person goes up.

With great disgust..

Seriously though, I've become somewhat of a philosophical thinker recently. I've began to ask definitions for everyday words that people take for granted. My perceptions of the world are constantly evolving. In general though, I compare things to it's importance in the universe, turns out nothing has much point anymore!

Thats very true and here's something else to think about. If you did manage to view the world through someone elses eyes and perceptions for let's say just a day, then return to yours, would you ever view the world the same again?

I look for a way to make a joke out of nearly everything. While mostly in poor taste(thought of a couple for the Manitoba bus tragedy), it provides a nice way to look at things. It's pretty hard for things to get you down if you don't take anything seriously.

I view things in relation to myself.
It sounds weird doesn't it? But I try to find some link between myself and EVERY occourence in the world.
I have not failed.

I think I might be god.

I view the world around me as a sort of game. That I'm not so depressed when I lose... because hey, it's just a game.

I view everything around me as a figment of my imagination. See, I invented the Internet, people! With imagination like this, I could become the new Stanley Kubrick/Baz Luhrmann/Tim Schafer!

On a more serious note, no matter how optimistic I am, I can only see the downfall of humanity coming sooner rather than later. The problem is, humans just can't run the world; so long as they are, corruption, hate, crime and just plain dickheads exist, and they unbalance the rickety bridge of the world.

I am an environmentalist; I've done my fair share of planting trees. But when I see my friends and other passers-by do stupid things like smoke, litter or vandalise, it brings a tear to my eye.

I associate a song or musical ditty to every passing event that happens in my day-to-day life. It maybe completely quiet around me, but there is always a song playing in my head. The soundtrack of my life, if you will.

That aside, I like to view everything with a sense of humor.

Systems of course. Everything works together, and all you have to do is fit a phenomena into the greater picture. Easy-peasy-mac-and-cheesy.

or more seriously I view the world as a giant joke. learn to laugh at yourself, everyone else already is.
