Loving all the folk trying to explain how he does what he does in Civil War, you do know that their will be a Black Panther movie that will no doubt give us a back story on how he is able to do what he does? The guy has a fucking jet that is on par with the Quinn Jet that Stark has The Avengers flying around in Age Of Ultron, so we can already say that he has access to some high end tech, it's also been made clear that the Super Solider Serum (or variants of it) is at least fairly common place within the MCU or how about the movie showed us a really good new character with some nice abilities and instead of explaining how he did everything he did it opted to leave us with a wee bit of mystery?
Dude, the Black Panther solo film won't be out until 2018. I mean, sure, it might - or might not - explain how they were able to smelt vibranium into a flexible suit or give Black Panther the strength to outrun a motorcycle and beat the Winter Soldier in an arm-wrestle. It's still like two and a half years away; in the meantime, people are gonna speculate.

I'm leaning towards the idea that the Wakandans reverse-engineered the super-soldier serum. They've got the brain-power to do it. It's a lot more plausible than shaman magic or special herbs. Or vibranium pajamas.

Remember what flubber did to basketball shoes? I imagine vibranium will be the same way on Panther's feet.
I don't know a lot about physics or science in general, but if vibranium absorbs vibrations and kinetic force, then shouldn't vibranium soles do the opposite of that?

I mean, it would let him survive long drops by landing on his feet (like a cat, nyuk nyuk nyuk) the same way Captain America does by landing on his shield, but if he tried to do the reverse - exerting force the vibranium soles instead of using them to absorb force - he shouldn't even be able to jump, much less sprint faster than a car.

I don't know. Vibranium is one of the dumber super-materials in comic books. At least adamantium is consistent - it's really heavy and really tough, and that's about it. Vibranium does everything from absorbing energy to reflecting energy to disintegrating other metals to powering spaceships and curing cancer.

]The dome reflects, the bowl absorbs; granted, I don't get how the handles would survive a grenade, but it works for me in every other way and doesn't contradict any of the moments I remember.
If you're talking about that scene in Civil War, I'm pretty sure it was a flashbang grenade.

I still don't see how that works for Black Panther unless he's running around on foot-sized bowls made of vibranium. Which is...insane, but possible.
