When I don't get a lot of sleep--I go in cycles of extremely energetic to falling-over-bleh.

If you stay up long enough, I hear you hallucinate.

I basically just lose a lot of energy and feel like lying around a lot. It also makes me sleep a shitload longer the next time I go to sleep.

I've never had reason to stay up to the "hallucination" stage of sleep deprivation. Thankfully. I would freak out if I started hallucinating.

Well,

It's not directly a cause of Sleep Deprivation, but I am always at my best between 2 and 8 in the morning. For some reason I think and say the most brilliant things when I'm (supposed to be) in bed. I've even said some things I've written down and amazed myself with in the morning. In a way, it's confusing at times, though. I've had situations where I figured out how to handle a situation one night, messed up the situation during the day and then whacked myself on the head for being so stupid the other night again.

I took part in a sleep deprivation experiment for 24 hours, and the time taken for me to complete 2 simple arithmathic tests decreased by about a second after the 24 hours.
