I get moody when the weather's bad, except for storms or heavy rain. I prefer sunshine. It makes me happy, especially seeing other people in cheery moods. What are my fellow Escapists' thoughts on this? How does weather affect your mood?

Heat like today pisses me off.
Arrrgh.
Cold, clear and sunny winter days make me smile.
Otherwise I don't care much.

Well, lving in southern canada I get all the seasons, especially winter. My fav type of weather that always puts me in a good mood are thunderstorms, if its snowing it makes me drowsy, bu tin a good "by the campfire" way, really i only hate it when its hot and sunny. Rain.....welll rain is the same as thunderstorms i guess.

Oh and if im on the ocean, then i really like it when its windy, good for sailing.

I am the calmest (sp?) when it is over cast and I will whinge a lot when it is hot.

I honestly have considered moving to Australia purely because it puts 12,000 miles between myself and family and is more sunny than the UK.

I do have quite severe depressive states, and i've noticed that largely they are confined to Winter months.
Don't come now. It is so cold *shivers*

Hate sunny days they make me feel tired and grumpy. I like the rain so much more and cloudy weather they calm me down

not in Western Australia right now we've got hail, strong winds and even a little flood.

Rain makes me sleepy and sunny doesn't bother me that much since we have it for like 9 months a year but when its not sunny its really cold, Australia isn't that balanced.

Sun makes me feel bad for being inside, rainy weather makes me feel nice and cosy when I'm inside.

I wanna headbutt people when they complain about "it's to hot!" though in England.

Sunny weather puts me in a good mood. To an extent. If it's a day like for example today, when it's over 30 degrees celsius, I get pissed-off and a bit of a dick. Same happens when it gets too cold (which happens more often). Rain/cloudy either gets me relaxed or really moody.

You may have Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Austraillia is the best country ever though, you should totally move their. That said someone I know in Austraillia, their father suffered SAD, so it doesn't matter what side of the world you're on. But Austraillia has Koalas, what can make you happier than Koalas?

Sun, I like sunny weather, but I can get annoyed at the heat. Though that rarely happens.

Rain, I like heavy rain, but light showers just annoy me.

Clouds, dude clouds are awesome.

Wind, I love the sound of wind blowing throw the trees.

Snow, it's OK...

Basically, I only really like extremes of weather.
