My imaginary girlfriend doesn't like video games very much, I keep giving her the controller but she always immediately drops it.
your quite right i think people forget that games were meant to be recreational and not really a life stylejono793 said:Hopefully most people will have the presence of mind and social aptitude to do something other than sit on their backside playing Dragon Age while their neglected other half weighs the pros and cons of the relationship! I've learned that being a "Gamer" doesn't mean you have to be a one-note hybrid of man and console. Just as well, because it isn't a paticularly attractive motif to adopt!
The best advice I can give is to keep the controller out of the relationship; find things she enjoys and do them together. If she's also into gaming then all the better, but don't use that as an excuse to avoid doing other things too.
Pretty much in the same boat. I can play as long as she can sit on my lap and watch. It's kinda irritating. but better than no gaming at all.white_salad said:Mine isn't a gamer, but she doesn't mind. Different people like different things. Although she likes watching me play certain ones, more story involved ones, like mass effect. The deal is, I can play video games when she's around as long as we sort of cuddle while doing it...she called it a compromise....more like win-win situation. And for the people who are saying " I don't have a girlfriend woe is me" I was in the same boat til this one arrived. It's better to find a good girl rather than just test the waters all the time.
