Better than I ever intended.

I liked "Amaranth" because of the concept of the "unfading" flower. And a tough-ass weed. I'm hard to get rid of, hard to keep down, and pretty enduring.

I didn't realise the connection to purple when I came up with it, but I love purple. Purple purple purple purple.

When I wanted to start performing music, I wanted a stage name. "Zachary Amaranth" was partially because people called me Zachary in High School (based on the number of people with my real name in HS) and partially a nod to Freddie Mercury and my obsession with Queen.

'Inco' was the shortening of the name "Inconsistencies Arise" which was my old username before the name change. It reflects the inconsistent nature of the people around me and how I can only explain this to myself as "inconsistencies Arising". I am fairly consistent, and my lifestyle is too (in a bad way, funnily enough, not a routine way.)

It was shortened to Inco after the escapism trips in 09 where it was used more commonly.

It shows that I saw this back when it was still funny, and that my favourite character on Reboot was Gamesprite, and that I haven't been able to think of anything more original since than mushing these two references together.
nuuuuu, I made it almost three years without seeing that. damn you. :p

My name is Joe and I am a Colorado Avalanche fan. Thus, AvsJoe.

I also hate underscores and numbers in usernames so I came up with a unique one that has only once ever been denied, which hints at my self-diagnosed OCPD. I also use it everywhere, which hints at my need to forge myself an online identity rather than staying anonymous.
