Most Final Fantasy game endings, I'm such a sap to them.
Haha same, VIII, IX and X really did it for me.

And, oh dear god I'll admit it:

The sad ending of FFX-2 made me shed a tear

Only things like Homeworld can make me emotionally involved, unless you count the fits of rage due to bad game design, of which there have been many.

I shed a tear for MGS4, the connection with Snake I had <spoiler=You know it> my lover ;) and his brilliant character development. He's awesome and everyone knows it.

I cried at the end of Mafia. Purely because it was such a life lesson.

I laughed at the end of MGS1 when you save Otacon instead of Meryl purely for the 2001:A space odyssey joke.

FFX did this to me briefly at several points. I never cry in games, but the ending in particular did melt my stoicism a bit.

Fable 2 did move me as well, oddly enough, not so much to sadness but to a certain bitterness at my characters ultimate lot. By the end of my story my hero was divorced, his youth had been destroyed, his dog was dead, and his family was beyond his grasp forever. He had nothing left but to wander the land until death took him. I don't normally connect with a faceless protagonist, but that ending really shook me. He was left with all the gold in the world, but no humans to bless with that wealth, left to rot away in the castle where his sister died in front of his eyes. It was such a... bleak ending for my character.

SWAT 4, the Fairfax Residence. One of the very few instances in a game where I *wanted* to kill some fictional bastard, and yet playing as a Swat officer you're not allowed to kill him, go figure (Unless he shoots at you that is, and how gratifying it is if he does.) That level really gets into your head. There was another mission in that game where you infiltrate a death cult, and in the basement of the apartment building... eug...

I was roaring with rage at Last Remnant. Mostly because of the battle system, but also since I realized there really wasn't a story there.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time spoiler

[spoiler/] I shed a tear when Fara died [/spoiler]

That's just about it. I was pretty cut up by HL2 Episode 2 and Shadow of the colosuss though.

One time about 5 years ago, I couldn't log on to Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for Xbox.

So, in my anger, I took a thing you hang like a curtain on (to cover my doorway) and I snapped it in half over my knee.

From there on in I never had a door.

I've also thrown controllers, drum sticks, cell phones, iPods, etc. because of this game.

As disgusting and moving as that was, I got more emotional over the AI in that game. Worst AI ever, they once shot a civilian and lost the mission for me.

Almost cried at the end of Myst III when you open the outer shield for Savvedro. Brad Dourif gave an astounding performance in that role.
