I used to be French. Well, one side of my family did. We were friends with King Louie and we fled when he got himself killed. I can't remember where to, but we fled AGAIN because we got into a duel.

Also, one side of my family used to be negro. The other side was white. One side actually owned the other side at one point, as slaves.

Kind of like Family Guy, no?

I've traced directly back to Jesse James, and generally, I've researched my family name back to medieval Scotland and Ireland.
MacKenzie.
fuck that is one name no one should have to research.

I know we can trace it back a long long while, but the only part I remember is my grandmother is from County Cork in Ireland, and my grandmother on my mom's side is directly from Purto Rico, but I mainly know about the Irish side of the family.

I only know to my grandparents, however on my dad's family there is the rumor that my ancestors come over on the Mayflower. Other than that I know nothing about my family's history, and I never cared enough to bother.

Back to Scotland on my dad's side, my last name means Fox Hunter or something like that. On my mom's side, I can trace it back to when the first of my family immigrated here, I don't remember when that happened though, let's just go with a long time.

On my dad's side, my grandmother's family came from Germany in 1860 and she traced their history back a couple generations in Germany, but that's as far as she was able to get. My grandfather's family came to the US from Germany in 1910 (probably to get away from World War 1) but that's as much as I know about that. I have no idea about the history of my mother's side, except that they're German and Irish.

The Plot thickens!? most likely but seeing as though even before WtC our family tree is really branched out, it would be difficult to figure out.
