Did you read the article? Sure the title is an exaggeration (and if you didn't see that then i worry for you), but all the things in there have been properly researched by scientist people, these guys just put it all in one article.

Well I guess that shows that scientists have way to much time on their hands.

They researched legitimate ways that gaming can really help people, i'd say that's a fair use of their time.

There are idiots everywhere, but perhaps I didn't elaborate enough. I mean that at least those idiot gamers might learn something while playing games, unlike the people who thinks their lyrics are "good" or "best ever". Seriously, I tried listening to one of Lady Gaga's songs (Love game) and dear god I stopped at 30 seconds or something.
