I will praise myself(how selfish!) and say that I'm musically talented but I will never be a singer. Never. My voice is terrible and I can only sing in one tone.

I can hold a note pretty well, but once I approach falsettos, it breaks and I sound like a complete fucking retard.

Apart from that, it's alright, I won't make you cry in agony, but I probably won't impress you either.

Now, death growls, that's a completely different story. I can do a stupidly low death growl. ^_^

Are we talking about singing with or without the handy squiggly tunnel thing on Rock Band here? With that, I seem to do alright ... on easy ... but without it I fail horribly and noone wants to hear me fail horribly, least of all me.

(By "alright" I mean 96% to 100%, but it is on easy.)

Not great, but the only time I ever sing is in the car with the music cranked up high enough that I can't hear my own voice. ;)

I'm one of those people who can't sing, yet absolutely loves to.

Much to dismay of everyone around him.
Agreed, i love singing but i sound terrible. Occasionally i know a song well enough to be perfectly in tune but i lack the voice for it anyway.

Offtopic: Ive been looking for a reason to quote you for a while because your avatar is the pinnicle of awesome.
Haha! You haven't realised the avatar thing yet. :L

I'm a pretty good singer. I was classically trained and still do pretty well with classical songs. I'm quite restrictive with what types of songs I can sing well though. I normally make people sit up and notice when I sing but I'm not nearly confident enough to do anything of consequence anymore. In fact, my confidence has diminished as I've grown up.

Weirdly, I'm shit at vocals on Rock Band and Guitar Hero. I don't know why.

I used to be in a band as a backing vocalist, am in a band as a lead screaming vocals, in a chamber choir and sometimes sing with my girlfriend with guitar

I like to think I am quite good at it

Very good.

I am not good at many things in life, but singing is one of the few I've gotten great at.
You're a horrible self promoter!

OT: I did girl's choir and show choir up through high school, but that's about it. If Rocky Raccoon comes up in my playlist though, it must be sung. It's a rule.

remember that loud shriek you heard that was so painful to listen to that your dog stole your ear plugs? That was my brother. I consider my self an ok singer in skill but my voice is really monotone so I don't think I sound that good because of it. If I changed my voice a bit I would be considered average.

I can hold a tune but my voice is limited to Frank Sinatra-esque songs. Which I don't mind, as those songs are friggin' awesome. With practice I might actually sing half-decent.

I'm somewhat decent at the act of singing, but I would never sing in public. I only sing when I'm alone, where no one can hear me.
