I've learned a lot about people.
Mostly that they will make porn out of anything.

I've become chained to my pc at pretty much all waking hours.

I've become a lazy slob.
Well, you pretty much nailed it down.

-I became desensitized to everything thanks to /b/.

-I learned that the best way to ruin a creative idea is to introduce to the masses thanks to rage comics/memes.

-I listen to better music now without being a snob thanks to generally every forum site.

-I realized that the Star Wars prequels weren't as good as I thought they were when I was a kid thanks to RedLetterMedia/Plinkett.

-I got obsessed with Doctor Who thanks to freaking Netflix.

-I became less conservative (I live in Texas, if you don't vote Republican, you're essentially a pariah) and more independent thanks to political forum threads.

-I've come to be less impressed by people who are radically against the norm just for the sake of pretentiousness thanks to forums in general. If you're an atheist, then I have nothing to say against you; but if you blindly argue just to feel smarter than someone, you're a douche no matter what.

-Also, I learned to love my life...thanks to ThinkGeek.

So you became more religious and dislike atheists more.
This is not a good thing when combined.
Hmmm....no. A better thing would be if I could tolerate atheists on the internet more. If they stopped spouting atheism on top of their throats at every minute and not to be too dumb to understand agnosticism(or maybe give other religions a second look), I would.

Hmmm...no. Now you're grouping all atheists in one stereotype you've created. Obviously not all atheists are like what you described. If you meet a group of rowdy black people, who are kind of stupid and acting like dicks, you don't go ahead and say that now you hate all black people. Not all atheists care about religion and are stupid. Stop mixing up vocal minorities with the silent majorities. I don't think all religious people are stupid just because the WBC exists.

It hasn't really, to be perfectly honest.

I've changed in the past 4 years sure, but nothing is entirely because of the internet I don't think.

Eh...I've probably become a good bit more social thanks to internet buddies. I used to brush off a lot of people back when I was 13 and 14. Pretty quiet in general too. Now some might say I talk a bit too much, but I try to refrain from annoying anyone.

Pretty much lost any faith I had left in my religion.

Political views probably took a 180 as well, which isn't much of a surprise considering a kid's mentality to follow what their parents say.

I listen to a lot more music. Generally prog rock/metal stuff, but a lot of video game music too.

That's about all I can think of right now.

I think I'm much smarter now than I would have been had I not discovered the internet, and sort of quickened the pace of me becoming an Atheist.

And I've become infinitely more lazy.

Well, I don't exactly think that internet has directly influenced me to change; real life experiences are what prompted me to ask questions, the internet only helped me answer them.

To be more clear: I used to be a devout Christian who believed in god. But recently I succumbed to my doubts, and eventually the skepticism has driven me start questioning my faith. I sought help on the internet, and after a thorough investigation of my religion, I decided to convert to an Agnostic. Life seems a little more...discomforting now, but I'm at least happy of the fact that I'm no longer basing all of my moral views on religious dogma, and a belief in a divine deity which may or may not even exist.

Have you considered that the internet tends to bring out the worst of a specific type of person. I am sure that you are a nice person who genuinely wants be tolerant. Here is the other side of the coin, I have been asked how could I be a good person and an atheist, after all with out god to tell me how to behave I should be out doing stuff like rape and murder because I have no carrot to keep me good in this life. Now considering that this is one of the most asked questions online that I have come across, I could easily assume that all Christians are psychopaths who are one reading of the bible away from killing us all because without the bible there is no reason not to. Instead I think that some people are assholes and also Christian, just as some people are assholes and also atheist. Mind you I have also given myself a chance to meet theists (Christian, Muslims, Buddhists New Age types, etc.) who are good people who just happen to disagree with my world view.

Well, it's thanks to you people on The Escapist that my eyes have been opened up to Electronic Arts.

It's thanks to the Internet that I am very much interested in Rareware and Valve, the latter of which is intertwined with how I got into the TV series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which also had a connection with Sonic at that point.

My writing has gotten a lot better, as I have gone out and made webcomics. I made a lot of idiotic mistakes in the past (like... you know... "Authory Powers") and then learned that stuff like this was stupid and best left avoided. My biggest comic used to be Sonic-related, but didn't actually have Sonic in it. Now, my biggest comic series is about ponies. (And the Mane 6 are there almost right from the start.) Go figure.

I now know about a lot of internet memes and whatnot (I think my "favorite", if you can call it that, would be Shoop-da-Whoop.)

Probably not just in the last 4 years but a more gradual decline: My use of grammar has slowly degraded. I think on a subconscious level my brain has started to question if some of the grammar I know is correct because I keep reading it done in other ways and so mistakes started creeping into my writing.

Last 4 years specifically:

I've finally silenced that part of the brain that wants to plug away at an argument you have no chance of winning when the people you are arguing with have no hope of ever seeing things any different.

I've learned to be incredibly tolerant of young people who think they know everything and there are lots of them on the internet. Hell there are lots of them just on The Escapist.

I've come to hate the religion I am baptized in for how closed-minded they are, incidentally this includes anyone who uses religion as the primary reason behind their argument.

I can watch someone die and not feel anything, (4chan to thank there).

I found out trolls do exist, they are not giant and armed with a large weapon but are possibly the most annoying thing to show up on the internet since lolspeak.

I've learned that Google is my best friend when I want to know something.

I discovered sites where I can spend hours doing nothing.

I realized that spelling errors drive me insane.

I gained an extensive knowledge of facts that will probably never come up outside of game shows.

I consider most people stupid.

I can't talk to anyone I consider stupid for more than five minutes without imagining ways they could die at that moment.

I have a massive ego, if you tell me I suck, I will tell you I'm awesome.

Biggest thing? I know who I am and I don't let anyone tell me what I should be.

I dropped 50 pounds. This is no joke, and is directly attributable to the internet, the mere distractions I found thereon brought me to a more normal level of eating for a good while (even if what I ate was still not ideal.) I also found myself, as a result of roleplaying online, driven to be more social in real life.
