Upgraded the OS from Vista to 7. I've only had it a few months so not much done. I've added a lot of peripherals though. I may add a second HDD, and some point in the future I might get a new Graphics card. I may install a Blu Ray drive as well. I've seen one for a reasonable price.

have a core 2 duo processor (3ghz), nvidia geforce 9300m gs, blu-ray drive, 4 gb ram, 500 gb hard drive

added an extra 2 gb of ram and an extra 500gb hard drive, upgraded to windows 7 as well. Not the best PC but I can still run dragon age on very high without too much trouble :D

It started out as an old Alienware PC with a fried motherboard that I got for free.

Fixed it with a new Asus M478-pro motherboard

Then I changed:

CPU to an AMD phenom x4
Hard drive to a WD Caviar Blue 500gb
Changed PSU (to fit the new MB)
Got new ram (4 gb ddr 2 800)
Replaced very old GPU with a semi old free ATI Fire GL
Upgrade os to win 7 64 pro
Upgrade to 25 inch monitor (1080p)
Then I changed the case (Raidmax Hurricane)
Replace GPU with a 5770
Replace PSU to accomodate the GPU (Corsair 550w)
Add 4gb Ram
Get Awesome keyboard, mouse, and headset (surround sound)

It has been a long journey, but worth it.

Last cpu i bought is pretty much the same. I just changed a 160GB IDE drive for two 80GB SATA drives. I sold one of them.

It used to have XP and Office 2003 now it has Win 7 and office 2007. It used to have internet, now it doesnt.

My broom began to lose bristles so I'm thinking up getting it repaired or waiting for dell to release their new wonder broom.

Considering it is only about a month old. Wireless card and small cakes of dust on the CPU fan.

512 MB RAM (with Vista which has a min of 1GB), integrated video card, 50 GB hdd.

TO
2GB Dual-channel RAM. 512 MB Video Card. 550 GB hdd.

Not bad. Processor remains the hang up. P4 3.4 with HTT. My comp can run Batman AA, but the processor lags behind so much, it's like playing in slowmo.

My laptop came with 4gb of RAM and Windows Vista 32-Bit. Meaning 1gb of RAM was pretty much useless. I upgraded to 64-bit Windows 7 as soon as the student deal came out and it runs much better. Other than that, not much has changed on it.

Just alot files added. This computer is closing on 3 years in age, and it never was meant for gaming. I plan to get a new one sometime. :)

It's certainly gotten dirtier since I got it the first time. I eat too many Reese's Cups around it.

The first computer that was mine was a Compaq laptop that had 27 gigs of hard drive space. While I owned that laptop, I also purchased an iPod that had 30 gigs. That was funny, I thought.

Two years ago I acquired a 24" desktop iMac with 500 gigs of hard drive space and lots of other awesome specs. It was quite a deal actually--the university I live near had a bookstore that was trying to get rid of them for the new models, so I got it at like $700 off the regular retail price.

And this past summer I had a stroke of luck. I left it plugged in during a wicked thunderstorm and apparently lightning struck right near my apartment complex. I had just moved in and was too lazy to unpack my surge protector, and of course a power surge occurred and fried the power system.

Luckily I had purchased the AppleCare extended warrantee, so it was covered. They couldn't fix the power system, so they were forced to replace my machine. Turns out, they were no longer making the kind of Mac I originally had. So I got an upgrade~ 4 gigs of memory, 2.66GHZ, Intel Core i5, and 1 terrabyte of hard drive! Not to mention a monster 27" widescreen monitor :3 My only problem with it is it can't handle Blu-Ray, which to me seems silly. I even looked up tests for third-party hardware and software, but it just doesn't come out right.
