In SR1, my character had short hair and was muscular-ish, and little chubby. He was a bit of a twig though, and looked young compared to a lot of the others. I saw him as maybe twenty. By the end of it however, he was less fat, a little thicker built, and had a thing for wearing business suits His hair had also increased in length.
In SR2, His skin got marginally darker(He had been burned)and his hair was short again. He still loved business suits, robbing people at the beginning to afford one from impressions. He was sleek and muscular in this one, with his hair eventually falling past his shoulders. By the end, he had also developed a thing for fedoras.
In SR3, he has dropped his Hispanic accent and put his hair in a pony tail, with a wisp of it dangling in front of his face occasionally. His hair has gotten a bit darker, and his eyes have become purple. His face is remarkably close to what it was. He still likes business suits though, and has left the fedora phase. And now, he paints his cars like they were from his gang.
And that's it.
Wait, you gave "him" the "[female] cheerleader" haircut? :D

Saint's Row 1 started out with a fresh faced youth caught up in a conflict much larger than himself. A white male in a white t-shirt with baggy pants, the very pinnacle of gang banger style. As he grew both physically and mentally in the Saints he learned to be far more snazzy a dresser and took to wearing a grey three piece suit...even to his own 'funeral'.

SR 2 opens with our hero, the cockney accented, ginger haired male fighting to reclaim what he lost in the intervening 5 years since the explosion. He acquired his first tattoo on his back, "Forgive my sins" it read, as he cut a bloody swath through the other 3 gangs. Eventually, he settled on a black bowler hat with a grey rim and a charcoal 3 piece suit with oxford shoes to finish up his conquest of stilwater.

SR 3 opens with our favorite boss being dropped in Steelport, having lost the suit he now wears a black trench coat with grey sweater, grey Fedora with whit rim and combat boots. The intervening years were unkind as his fights with the ronin caused 2 very large scars on his face from sword fights gone wrong. 3 new tattoos adorn his body, honoring the fallen: Aisha, with the fall of the ronin tattoo on his leg, Carlos, with the brotherhood band on his right upper arm and the Voodoo doll of the Samedi, which commemorates his saving Shaundi instead of her dying. He's loyal to a fault and its costed him friends and facial features, but he's determined to one day rule the world.

Same every game,
Bald, mustache, thick head/face, crazy look in his eye's/face, muscular and some fat, burly, very burly.
in saint 2 he had some tattoos, swords on inner arms, knight on leg, saint angel on back.
only clothing changed a bit, basically would swap what ever new article of clothing i found/bought, then run around naked.
easy way to imagine is charlie Bronson, not the swell actor but the crazy English inmate
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172570/
basically i always made him look like the movie cover.

Never played the firste one (should probably get around to that sometime), but my first guy in SR2 was basically an attempt to dress up in a way that gave me as much respect bonus as possible, without looking like a crossdresser and/or mafia boss. Which meant he walked around in sunglasses, leather jacket, stylish pants and as much bling as you could possibly fit on a human being. With his spiky hairdo, slightly yellowish skin, piercing eyes and goatee, he conquered the whole of Stilwater...

In SR3, I managed to recreate most of his looks, except that I couldn't find a suitable hairstyle. So instead I had to go with a backslick, like he's toning down his punkness in order to better his public persona. Apart from that, and the fact that I haven't found ANY of the clothes he used to wear (except for a pair of glasses that could replace his old shades), he looks exactly the same.

In SR1 he was a black muscular guy with glasses, I pretty much based him on myself.

In SR2 he was a guy who wore suits and facepaint like the Joker and had the cockney accent.

In SR3 I plan on making a hot latina chick with a short temper.
