Well I named the main character in FF2 Fuknut and his three friends *****, Dumfuk and Asshol.

Not really, no. I usually call it something unisexual or something at least cool sounding. All are my characters are a reflection of me or what I want to be, and I don't really want to be a Wastelander with a bad haircut named Touch Inappropriately.

Usually not the first time, but repeat playthroughs are fair game. Standing out most in my memory is naming every single character in Final Fantasy VI 'Donkey' (don't ask) and naming FFVII's cast after the cast of Disney's cult-favorite, Gargoyles (Yuffie is Demona, naturally).

Earthbound is also good for this:
'Eat some -your favorite food here- and scoot up to bed.'
'-your name- thought about -your favorite food- and started craving it.'
'-your name- used PK -your favorite thing- Omega!!'

In Oblivion, I named my Argonian "Skull-Fucker". Then I collected every skull I ever came across and dropped it in the house. You couldn't move there were so many skull piles in that house.

Edit: One of my friends made a Morrowind character named "Pillow Pants" (Cookie for reference). And he actually made a miniature castle of all pillows. LOL.
It was miniature but still big enough to step inside it, maybe like 12x12 ft. Needless to say, he got so much respect from me that day.

OT: I have a real roleplaying aspect when I play games like this, so I generally name them with original names.

i know its not the main character (barely a character really) but the few times i played fable 2 through i took to naming the dog whatever i happened to be screaming at it at the time

i believe in no particular order the were: fucking dog, stupid fucking dog, and piece of shit (though one of the i renamed 3rd broken controller; fits of rage are counterproductive)

incidentally playing violent fast-paced games on thorazine is also counterproductive (who knew?)
