Yes, I have when wading through the perils of YouTube. But the thing is I like the song and the music video is fine, so I always thought "Is this supposed to upset me?"

I've been rick rolled many a time but the most memorable incident occured in a custom map for the game zombie master. The map's called random and just like the title implies it has very random and funny traps (There is one zombie master and the other players are survivors. In each map ZM can spawn zombies and control them RTS style but they can also choose to spring certain traps). Such traps include being pushed off a cliff by Micheal Jackson, being Sparta style kicked and you guessed it, being teleported to a box covered in Rick Astleys face while the oh so classic song plays. Thank goodness your health slowly drains in the box.

Ussually I can spot Rick Roll videos now for instance "FIRST FIVE MINUTES OF SEVENTH STAR WARS FILM" or some other sensationalist claim like that but I actually fell for a vid that was supposedly about UFO-related Easter Eggs in GTAIV.

Last semester in class my professor set one off accidentally.

It was in a class about viral marketing.

Oh yeah alwsys look really really carefully at the Related Videos when watching a popular series on YouTube, I remember clicking on a bunch of Arby 'n the Chief decoys posted by a "Machin1ma" a while ago. It pisses fans of the series off but personally I would be flattered if my series had become popular enough to warrant decoys.

Been Rock Roll'd twice on this site. But my internet is really crap so it never has time to load the video properly, just a black video panel.
And I did 'Swift Roll'[footnote]Yes, I have just invented that term.[/footnote] someone here using Love Story by Taylor Swift. That was fun.

I asked a friend to rip me some audio from a song off youtube which wasn't available for purchase in England.
He sent me a certain different song.
I'd give him respect for his ingenuity (I didn't see it coming) if it didn't crash my computer during the download -.-

I remember that, wasn't my first time being Rick Roll'd.

I think it was in person at summer camp, we were eating dinner when someone grabbed the mic and began singing the song. No sure if that counts as being Rick Roll'd.

I was at my aunt's house for new years and my aunt had the radio on. I walk into the room, and just as I do so, I hear a faint 'never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down' I yell out 'DAMMIT ALL!' and walk out of the room, when my cousin walked into the room I went to tao ask what happened, I told him 'I was rickroll'd by the radio!' he laughed and walked back into the family room.

Being a Banjo-Kazooie fan, I knew about the "fungal forest" track that went unused in the game. So, naturally, I was quite curious when I saw this video that claimed you could access a secret level through hacking. It goes through a bunch of screenshots, while the "narration" of text explains how to do it, even cuts to a bunch of Computer programming dealing with a "FOREST" in the game. Anyway, it goes on for about 1:30, building up to a dramatic reveal. He eventually goes to a warp pad in the game, which he claims takes you there after the hacking. Then the screen did the Jiggy-fade-out in the BK games.

When it came back, it was a Rick Roll. I was so well done, I favourited the video. Unfortunately, all it says now is this:

"Fungus forest found in banjo kazooie!"
